“Rude Staff and Noisy!”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 December 2013

Stayed here based on tripadvisor reviews

Good sized room, good value, extra facilities e.g. choice of pillows, well located nearby bowling, restaurants.

Staff rude, bathroom fans very noisy and lack of towels.

Good night sleep guarantee seems to be make believe...

Stayed two nights Nov/Dec weekend. Everything up to the expected Premier standards. Good car parking, welcoming receptionists, spotlessly clean room and bathroom, great bed and bedding. What more could you ask from a budget hotel? Easy access to M5 too.
Dinner and breakfast at the Brewers Fayre next door both good value. The staff service at dinner was much better and personal than at breakfast though, which reason delayed our departure somewhat. Breakfast is the usual "all you can eat" but it isn't buffet style - you have to order via a waitress (if you can attract one). But at least it's freshly cooked.
There are security guards patrolling the area during the evening (Hotel/Cinema/Bowling etc) so cars are reasonably safe, which is reassuring.
Overall I find this an easy hotel to recommend.

We stayed here for 4 nights last week with our 4 year old and 7 month old. We previously stayed in November 2011 and it is just as good as it was then! Our room was a lovely size - plenty of room for our girls to play even with 2 beds and a travel cot! Staff were welcoming and friendly. It's around 15 minutes from Cadbury world and 25 minutes from the city centre which was perfect for us as we visited the Christmas market and the bullring. Wouldn't stay anywhere else if I was visiting Birmingham again!

There was plenty of room in the car park as we arrived and the check in staff were very cheerful and helpful. The room was very comfortable and was very quiet. We ate in the restaurant and the service was excellent, which was impressive as there was a large party of us and it was a Saturday evening! All in all, a great stay and I would definitely look to stay here again!

Stayed in Birmingham Rubery Premier Inn with my husband, a 3.5 year-old and 1.5 year-old. Had a great time as staff was really friendly. The carpark is also free of charge and there is a Morrisons, a Cinema and a bowling alley all within walking distance. Cadbury World is about 15-20mins away which is really handy. Also, those with young kids may want to know that the restaurant just next to Premier Inn has a soft play area which is reasonably priced at £2 per child per hour from 4pm - 8pm. Overall, we had a great time!

We stayed here for 1 night recently whilst visiting the NIA and Cadbury World with family.

We had a large family room, with our small kids in two reasonable pull-out single beds (they slept fine).

Unfortunately, the room was very hot and stuffy and the internal noise from squeaking floorboards from the floor above was the worst I have ever experienced in a modern hotel.

It was a shame really, as the customer service was very friendly at the front desk.

We ate dinner and breakfast at the Brewer's Fayre opposite which was surprisingly good.

Conclusion: I'll try any number of alternative 'budget' hotels around Birmingham when I next visit.

Room Tip: Try a different hotel!
