Meeting half way to drop the Grandsons off we used this hotel. It was fantastic value for money. We had a double room and our son had a family room. Both rooms were the same price which made it a bonus stay. The area around gave us plenty to do to tire 3 boys out. The food we had was plentiful and very reasonable. The breakfast where 'kids eat free' was so affordable too. Making it a fantastic mid point swap for the future.

We stayed here for two nights in April. We chose it as it seemed to be surrounded by lots of great facilities. There's a cinema, bowling, restaurants and a Morrisons in easy walking distance. Also easy to find and handy for other attractions. We went form there to Cadbury World which is only 10 to 15 min away. We also dropped my husband off at the airport on the last morning and that was an easy journey too. They say in the blurb that it is near a major road so can have traffic noise. We heard nothing. Very quiet. Great location for exporting Birmingham.

Lovely room with real beds for the children. Nearby to Cadbury's world which is why we booked it but there were also other activities such as bowling and cinema nearby and a good choice of restaurants too. With Morrisons around the corner with a pharmacy, that came in handy too! We ate in the Brewer's fayre next door which had a play area for the children too. The only down side was the noisy stomp-abouts in the room above....we didn't get any sleep and so the 'good night guarantee' should have come into play but we weren't offered it when we complained. Overall the stay was good because of it's location and facilities...perhaps another night in a different room we might have got sleep and I would score the sleep rating higher.

We enjoyed our one night stay so much that we went back the following week. Excellent size family room and comfy beds. The bathroom was a little shabby but, again a good size and everything worked well. The staff were very friendly and especially welcoming to the children. Breakfast was very tasty, good value-for-money and plentiful with lots of choice. The hotel was quiet at night-time despite having many restaurants and attractions close by. There are two reasons why it didn't get a 5 star rating: 1. We had problems booking over the internet on the second occasion and the hotel was not able to book the same deal over the telephone; and 2. Despite paying for a family room and breakfast and dinner for 5, Brewer's Fayre still tried to charge us £6 for the kids to use softplay whilst they waited for their meal. Most annoyingly, we only discovered this once the children had run into the play area - there was no sign stating the cost on the doorway. A cheap trick, Premier but, overall, we had a good stay and would recommend.

family stay of 5 overnight and everything was spot on. no problems at all. ease of booking over internet. very friendly staff, nothing too much trouble. knowledge of area and best places to eat. rooms spotless and spacious considering a budget hotel. family room had double and single bed, not just a pull out bed which was great. very quiet. breakfast at next door restaurant was perfect and kids eat free made the little over priced breakfast worth it in the end. overall a very good stay for families. x

Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were nice and hardly any noise even though there was pub next door. Would definitely stay again if in that area as has cinema, bowling and restaurants a short walk away.
