Once it was Brum's best pub, but the owners have clearly taken their eye off the ball. Poor drinks, poor service and while it was never smart, it is now becoming tatty as well as dirty. A real shame.

We had such a great time at our cocktail masterclass! Eamonn was our host, he was fantastic, generous & made us all feel welcome & relaxed! The cocktails were amazing - what a great way to spend a couple of hours!!

Two of my colleagues organised a mid week leaving party here in the upstairs function room.
The barmaid was lovely and the room was suitable for about 20 - 50 guests. They also plugged in one of our phones to the sound system so we could listen to our own music.
The reason for the slightly lower score is because the drink choices on draft were limited upstairs compared to downstairs and the event organisers were slightly disappointed with the amount of food provided. Apparently they spent £300 on food and it didn't look like there was £300 worth provided. The food did taste lovely however for a midweek event I'm not sure how much value for money this was.
I really like the Victoria as do my colleagues and so I will definitely be returning as the bar downstairs is epic. I'm just not sure if I would hold a function in the upstairs room.
