Great shopping park with plenty of free parking spaces. Ideal to get around with a pushchair, good variety of shops especially good for clothes shopping.

This remains one of the few places that still has free parking which is such a bonus. It's location just off the M6 adds further to the convenience. There is a very big recently opened next, and a also River Island. A good Marks and Spencer as well. A real shame is the recent loss of Homesense which alongside the previous loss of HMV leaves that side of the shopping park a bit sparse.

I use The Fort regularly. It has all the stores I want from Costa Coffee to Marks and Spencer. There is always plenty of parking which as an added bonus is free.

The shops are quite spread out but the walkways are undercover so even in bad weather it's fine to shop.

I definitely recommend The Fort for shopping.

I am a big fan of the Fort Shopping Park. I find it has most of the high street shops you would expect, and all that you would need. There are the usual big names, including Marks and Spencer, Next, WH Smiths, Boots, and Clarks shoes. There are also plenty of options for eating and drinking; Starbucks and two Costa coffee shops (one is located inside Next), Nandos, Harvester, Frankie and Benny's, as well as plenty of street stalls. Children are well catered for too, with a soft-play centre and child-friendly shops such as Mothercare and Boots. There are plenty of places for changing your baby, the changing facilities in Mothercare are probably the nicest, but there is a baby change table in every public toilet facility, plus a dedicated baby room in Boots. Boots and Mothercare also both have private breastfeeding areas.
I find the biggest benefit of the Fort is the free parking! I've never struggled to find a parking space. I prefer the underground parking, because it is quieter, but in heavy rain this area is closed off.

A good mix of shops, ample parking, great signage to enable you to find it. Some good food places like Harvester and Nandos, worth a look.
