“Superb menu”
Reviewed 12 June 2014 via mobile

This is a regular haunt for me and my work colleagues when we work at the NEC for shows. It has an excellent selection in the menu- the best I've ever seen. Some unusual options as well as old favourites!
The food is very well prepared and generally very quickly delivered to your table.

“Adequate”
Reviewed 28 May 2014

Visited before attending a concert at the Town Hall so restaurant was quiet. The waitress made a mistake with one of orders but did apologise ( but no reduction to bill). Menu was extensive and food adequate. Ideal location in the heart of the City Centre.

“Average food combined with bad service”
Reviewed 28 May 2014

It wasn't welcoming when we arrived and the atmosphere is a bit depressing, not much sunlight or light in general is in the dining room. Menu is very big but the waiters weren't willing to explain anything. We ordered a few dumplings, vegi and with meat but when the waiter brought it it wasn't explain what was what. Food was average, not specially good or bad, but I'm pretty sure it had a lot of glutamate in it.

“Chung Ying”
Reviewed 17 May 2014

Ate at Chung Ying prior to theatre trip early evening 16 th May. The restaurant was buzzy, there were two separate parties of Chinese.
The service was excellent, nothing was too much trouble. Food was delicious, and will certainly be eating there again.
