Visited on recommendation and was not disappointed. The best indian food I've ever tasted in the UK.

“Best Balti in Brum”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 6 June 2012 via mobile

My partner and I ate here with the kids over the Diamond Jubilee weekend. The service is exactly as described in other reviews ie one waiter running around serving all the tables but it was nevertheless very good and we didn't have to wait long for our food. The restaurant was busy with lots of locals which is always a good sign. We had an amazing meal. Everything was bursting with flavour and cooked with fresh herbs and spices. I would recommend the lamb tikka chops for starter. The Baltis come in varying strengths and exactly as described in the menu. A 2 course meal for 4 with soft drinks and all the extras came to about £60 so very reasonably priced. I'd have no hesitation recommending this restaurant and it's not difficult to see why it has won so many awards. My only regret is we don't live locally so it will unfortunately be a while before we return....

“One off of my bucket list”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 21 May 2012

Husband has been to Birmingham many times with work and raves about the curry restaurants. Have always wanted to try it so we went together this weekend. Ladypool road in Brum. Basic decor but its the food and service that was outstanding. I had a beautiful dish involving minced chicken and prawns that I never would have thought of having but you can taste every spice. Naan bread to die for. Prices and service fab. Give it a go
