“First class, contemporary Indian Restaurant with excellent service!”
Reviewed 17 November 2013

Lasan is particular favourite of ours & it never fails to disappoint, providing wonderful Indian cuisine in an immaculate & contemporary surroundings. The welcome is always professional & efficient yet friendly & the food is exceptional; outstandingly delicious with perfect presentation! This place really is a cut above & in a league of it's own! It's definitely a special occasion destination opposed to a quick mid-week curry fix but it certainly ticks all the boxes & without doubt creme-de-la creme!

“Excellent restaurant”

Absolutely wonderful evening only let down by the after dinner brandy that had been 'warmed' to the extent it killed the flavours.

Reviewed 5 November 2013

My wife and I were in a party of 20 and ate from The 4 Course Banquet (£38.95) which we thought was a better value as we were able to taste the varied meals which was not possible when we have visited individually (small portions already on your plate and unable to share) with friends.

Pre-Starter...METHIWALA JHINGA (Tandoori King Prawn)

Starter....CHOK KI TIKKI (Spiced Potato Cakes)
ONION & SWEET CORN PAKORA
KUMBH PALAK TIKKI (Spinach and Paneer Cake)
MAHI MACHLI (Marinated Salmon)
MANS KE SHOOLEY (Smoked Lamb)
PUDINA MURG SHEEK KEBAB (Spiced Minced Chicken)

Main.....ALLEPY FISH CURRY (Sea Bass)
SEYAL GOSHT (Mutton)
DUM KI BIRYANI (Goat)
MURGH MAKHANI (Chicken)
KADHAI ALOO (Spicy Potato)
GHAR KI DHAL (Lentils)

Pilau Rice
Assorted Nan Bread

The staff were their usual professionalism, helpfulness and politeness

“Good food and service”
Reviewed 3 November 2013

I ate here after getting a 25p(yes 25 pence) each way train fare from Marylebone.
The service resembles a high end eatery, amuse bouche, popadoms, starter mains and sweet all delivered with proper timing. I ate the Elachi Beef for my main and my wife and an excellent bream signature dish, for hers. It came to £140 for two all in with beer, wine and a jug of water.
