You really can't go wrong with Premier inn. The price is excellent and the staff always ready to help. We found the room clean and the bed very comfortable. The bathroom was perhaps a little shabbier than some we have stayed in but was perfectly clean.

The hotel is accessible on the main highway and is suitably located between the Coventry city centre and Warwick. Howeer, you could easily miss the access road to the hotel if you are new. The rooms are comfortable, however I was carrying heavy luggage and the hotel didnt have a lift/ any convenience which could have reduced my effort in transporting my luggage to the first floor. The breakfast was basic yet well cooked. Recommended for only short stays.

This place is situated well outside the city centre, across from a filling station and M&S food store on the ring road, so there are close amenities. The car park entrance is somewhat deceptive - you need to turn up the road towards the petrol filling station then turn right towards a housing estate then take the second right into the Harvester car park (the car parks are inaccessible from the first right turn - it takes you around the front then onto the housing fronts). Turn into the Harvester's car par then bear left to access the Prem's parking - it's tucked away in front.

Check-in was quick and efficient; most Prems always have my details pre-printed for me to check and sign, meaning they're my usual choice for business stays away (although it continues to disappoint me that despite paying over a hundred quid on a room Premier Inn still refuse to offer free WiFi).

The room was as I expected, quite roomy with a small bathroom - this one has a toilet door that doubles as a bathroom door. The modern touches impressed me: I was pleased to find this room featured a power socket near the bed, ideal for charging mobile devices - unusual for most Premier Inns I've stayed in. Other technical touches imply the modern family or business traveller in mind: under the wall-mounted flatscreen TV were wallports containing VGA and HDMI ports, allowing you to connect up AV equipment easily without trying to fumble around the back of a TV screen - a definite nice touch, since it allowed me to play a few films on the larger screen from my laptop.

Room Tip: Rooms towards the back are further away from the car park and likely to be quieter.

This place is situated well outside the city centre, across from a BP/M & S filling station/food store on the ring road.

I was disappointed to find that paying over a hundred pounds for B B and Evening meal did not give me a room with a bath. Having a bath is to my mind one thing that elevates PI above Travelodge.

The wc had great difficulty flushing and there was a drainage smell coming up from the hand basin. I ate at the Harvester across the car park, and wasn't impressed either, with my dish of rack of ribs fatty and tasteless.

I found the bed to be very hard and the pillows dreadful cheap foam efforts.

Good points are the staff, who were very good, and the breakfast which was cooked to order and was as good as you could wish for.

Room Tip: Avoid the Harvester

Stayed here recently and this was a lovely hotel. Very convenient for us as we visited Warwick castle for the day. Room excellent, comfy beds, very friendly staff especially at breakfast time. The breakfast was so good with loads to choose from.

Little concerned about the reviews for the harvester nearby but it was great there. Had a twenty minute wait for a table and the food for what we paid was excellent. Refill drinks for my children for £2.40. The puddings were wonderful. The food was really good there and the staff were very friendly. Really good restaurant!

Would definitely stay here again!

Situated in a pleasant suburb in southern Coventry this Premier Inn is handy for the city centre, station and both of Coventry's universities (Coventry and the misleadingly titled Warwick) with easy access by car or bus. There is a sizeable M&S food store in the filling station opposite.

All staff were very helpful, friendly and efficient.

Both the hotel and the surrounding area were extremely quiet during our one night stay (we were away from the Harvester / car park side which may not be so quiet) and rooms were very comfortable. Air conditioning was noiseless (yes, the extract at least was running).

Would have been 5 star but for one or two admittedly minor niggles - there is no flat surface in the shower for soap or shampoo and a corridor fire door needed adjusting. We did not have time for breakfast but would certainly stay again..

Room Tip: Probably best to avoid rooms facing onto the car park if you like to leave your window open at night
