“Great nights sleep”

I stayed in this hotel for 2 nights with my boyfriend and 2 friends. We arrived late but the reception staff were nice and made sure to make alternative arrangements for if we arrived after reception had closed. The rooms are quite dated in decoration and my bedroom wall had stains on it (did not want to think what they were!) but apart from that the room appeared clean and the bed was very comfortable! Sheets were so soft and clean. There was not a lot of noise from outside, my boyfriend is a very light sleeper and he managed to sleep well. I was a bit put off by the shutters outside the window but I didn't see any dodgy folk outside to be worried about to be honest. The area is perfect! There is an Asda and a lovely pub just across the road. I would recommend this hotel for short stays for people who won't be spending a great deal of time in the hotel. We got a great nights sleep and that is just what we needed it for :)

Basic accommodation but clean and relatively quiet. I stayed along with two colleagues in different rooms. I would not stay here as a lone female traveller. It is budget accommodation so you get a comfy bed, if somewhat basic room. Would be nice to have a plug near the bed to charge a phone. Breakfast was very basic so would recommend a quick trip to the fast food chain with Golden Arches next door - rather handy!
Handy for NEC and Birmingham and a short stay.

Room Tip: Stayed on the ground floor. Room fine but use the security shutters to feel secure.

The cost of the stay was reasonably cheap, but still i would like to see clean, dry white towels and unfortunately that wasn't the case we had to ask for them to be changed, which was done promptly, our heater didn't work so the room was cold, again after speaking with reception this was resolved by supplying us with a portable electric fan heater, we asked not to be disturbed , but again someone was knocking at the door, full of apologies when we said but all these things mount up to things that you remember about your stay, and the sachets of coffee are in my opinion the worst i have ever tasted. i was thinking of booking when visiting my family next, but have since stayed in another hotel costing similar and the comparison is massively better than that of the stay we had here, needs lots of improvements if you want guests to return, but i must say the staff were very good.

This is a motel rather than hotel and is conveniently located just off the M6 with a couple of supermarkets, restaurants, cinema and bowling nearby. We stopped in the morning as we were passing to check if breakfast was offered and were impressed to be offered our room to check in to straight away. The receptionist was friendly and helpful, so the customer service could not be faulted.
We went to our room and for the price paid, we were not expecting much, but I still expected even a basic room to be clean. The room had not been vacuumed for a while as I was treading on crumbs and bits from previous occupants. There was no plug in the bathroom sink and a big crack right across the sink, no doubt harbouring all sorts of germs. The bathroom ceiling was covered in mould.
On a more positive note, the bedding was spotless and the beds very comfortable. There was free wi-fi throughout, a tv and kettle.
Breakfast was fairly limited, but sufficient and the hot food was nice and hot. There was sausage, scrambled egg and hash browns as the hot items and it was buffet service.
This has the potential to be a basic but nice place to stay if only they gave the place a good clean and sorted out the maintenance issues.

Honestly, this is a very good choice for one or two nights' stay in Coventry. I chose to stay here as a stopover to my trip to Gloucester from the East and I was quite happy with the experience. A basic room, but comfortable, clean and quiet. Yes, it's not the Ritz, but for a good night's sleep, it's all you need. A tip, you need to call them if you are gonna arrive later than 11 pm, as reception is closed from this time.

Room Tip: Maybe rooms in the first floor are better than the ones in the ground floor, I think.

The place was dirty and run down, the room stank of stale smoke had ant powder around the edges of the carpet and everything looked a little worse for ware. 3 of us were booked into separate rooms for two nights for a business trip, non of us had a good experience.

The fire alarm went off at 2 in the morning and we were left milling around in the car park with no staff coming to tell us it was safe to go in. Only to overhear in the morning from staff that the reason the alarm had stopped was that someone had turned it off completely.

The restaurant was serving a 'limited' menu which did not include anything of an evening and hot breakfast included scrambled eggs only.

As a pit stop for a couple of hours i could have tolerated this but needing a place to work overnight it was just not suitable.

I wouldn't go back and will be advising my employers never to send staff to this hotel again

Just stayed overnight for one night. The price was very reasonable for the location and nearby amenities which include s McDonalds, Asda and Hungry Horse pub.
Bedroom was reasonably clean. Had free WIFI which was good.
Bed was comfy and room was warm despite being cold outside.
I would stay here again if looking for a budget stopover whilst travelling.
