I never get tired of visiting Coventry Cathedral. Not only does it have historical importance and value, it's beautiful as well. Make sure you climb to the top of the tower too (the entrance is in the gift shop). It's a great workout and when you reach the top you're rewarded with a great view!:-)

An interesting and emotional visit to this cathedral, a sad reminder of the devastation caused in ww2. A must see for anyone in the area.

This place has remained as a reminder of the devastation inflicted by the bombing during the 2 World War. It remains as a memorial to those who died and the awful legacy it left for the City. The charred glass in the tower and unmarked grave outside the grounds should serve as a powerful reminder to all who visit the powerful horror of war.

A striking modern cathedral sited next to the old building that was bombed. A very strange and thought provoking difference. This new building may not be to the taste of traditionalists but there are some wonderful parts of the building and interior with a magnificent tapestry, Well worth a visit.

The old cathedral stands as a memorial to the destruction of Coventry. It's interesting (don't miss the bishop wearing swastikas), with various monuments. But the new cathedral is profoundly moving, when you understand its symbolism. Just a shame they charge for entry.
