Stayed just one night . Overall staff were excellent one a little brusque but the charm of the others especially the bar girl more than made up for it. Clean, comfortable and very good value for money. We ate in the hotel and as there was a function in the dining room did so in the bar area. This was very satisfactory, service was excellent and the food was good. I would recommend this hotel to friends and would certainly use the chain again.

I've stayed here several times on business. Excellent hotel.

Very clean. Lovely friendly staff. The hotel restaurant is superb, serving excellent value good quality bar meals.

The location is good for Coventry City centre, just a five minute walk away.

Highly recommended

We stayed in this hotel from the 23rd December - 27th December: We had a fantastic Christmas Holiday in the days Hotel:

The staff were excellent very friendly very polite very professional and very helpful. The Hotel was spotless clean and very modern looking.

The facilities were excellent: Good food good prices and even had a free mini Gym.

The bedroom was spotlessly clean good size very comfy beds had an excellent sleep every night which is unusual for me as I find it hard to sleep when I am away from home.

The Hotel was very safe they are excellent when it comes to Hotel Security and safety and have cctv.#

I would like to say thank you to all the staff who made our staff and a very merry Christmas such a great experience:

We have rebooked a room for the 20th Mar 2014 for 4 Nights as we are planning to have a birthday celebration as our Christmas holiday was excellent.

Well done to all the fantastic staff at the Days Hotel, and thank you to the Hotel manager your staff are a credit to your professional hotel and service.

I came to stay for just the one night and was more than pleasantly surprised by the hotel. All the staff without question were friendly courteous and helpful , from the reception staff to the restaurant staff ,even those that passed us in the hotel on the way to breakfast. Our room was clean, well maintained and had everything we could have wanted. The price was excellent and the free parking a huge plus with being a few minutes walk from the city centre.i would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a stress free comfortable friendly place to stay.

Stayed for two nights about a 10 min walk from the center of Coventry very reasonably priced and not much I can mark it down on to be honest was clean and had everything you need/ expect. Food in restaurant was pretty well priced too I had the 8oz gammon steak which was good only couple of things that let it down a little for me was the bed was very hard (I know some people prefer this but not me) and the wifi is ridiculously restricted in terms of what sites you can visit as most sites are blocked (can't even go on youtube) but these are only minor things otherwise was a pleasant stay.

Read the reviews but thought it would be worth a try wouldn't stay again. The original room has broken towel rail barely hanging on the wall. the toilet door handle and lock came off and the door had to be opened from another person outside and finally the bed had stains. Moved rooms to get a bigger bed and larger room but this was the same price bracket as the original room. Again stains on the bed and furniture. No carpet so noise travels and can be cold but oddly no spy hole lens so just a hole in the door. There was a lot of noise in the hotel at night time with the manager explaining they are paying guest and not much can be done. Not a good service but friendly staff. would not stay again. Continental Breakfast was toast or cereals (minimal effort unless paying more) so would have been disappointed if had to pay extra for this.

Room Tip: Photos from other guest are very accurate.

Dear Guest,

Thank you for the review, I have to say that reviews only put one side of the story and I too am disappointed, especially when nothing was communicated to the hotel whilst your stay with us.

If you had said something at the time, we could have made things right for you. The hotel Bedrooms are nearly all refurbished, so you may have been in a older room. From time to time, people do say they are going to post comments on Trip Advisor if something is not done, my reply to my team in the Hotel is to encourage guests to do just that, as this serves two purposes.

* It gives the guest an outlet to vent their frustrations & as long as it is truthful , I have no issues.

* It allows the Hotel to respond in a open forum & for us to put our side of the story.

On this occasion since you had issues as you said you were immediately upgraded you but this was not mentioned anywhere.

Best regards,

Mr. Johal

For a 3 star hotel it was very good very clean , beds very good , staff. Good the restuarant has English and Indian food and the Indian food was very good and for a hotel a very good price on the down side the rooms need to be given a coat of paint and the hotel bar did not open till 6,00pm even at the weekend
