Took kids here week after Remembrance Day. Excellent photo exhibition of the WW1 fallen who have tree plaques, in the new visitor Centre. Café and toilets also very good (and can get cashback in café)

Cenotaph was undergoing lighting repairs so hard to get close up, but looked good from afar.
Aviary seems to have been revamped and bird displays and notes much improved.
Tennis café was excellent with friendly staff who made kids feel special and the made to order food was spot on!

A family place - plenty of open space for walks, a playground for the kids - fantastic and the memorial statue. You could spend a lot of time here if you fancy a walk or if there is an event going on otherwise a playground area for the under 12's. We chose a nice day weather wise but nice to see such a large area within a City

The park is spacious and free. The Godiva festival is the best free event I know, with lots of Bands and other entertainment.

We walked round the perimeter of the park on a sunny Sunday afternoon. Joggers, walkers, families, bikes, dogs, old people, young people. It seems to be a very poular place. The more formal area is now very well maintained, children's play area looked great fun, tenniscourts in use with mini courts for mini people, pitch and putt, 2 cafes, lots of space for picnics and easy to get to by bus or car.

This is a fantastic place to come whether you want a quiet walk or want a place for children to run around and play.
The play area for children is great-my son loves the sand and the water feature that was open over the summer holidays was a big hit.
The toilets could do with improving.
Great to have free parking, unlike coombe abbey country park where the parking costs nearly £4.
