Absolutely amazing, thoroughly enjoyed this production. If you get a chance pop along and see for yourself, you won't be disapointed. Thanks to the weatsheaf players.

First time visit to watch my step daughter perform (ok, so slightly biased!). Was quite taken aback by the friendly nature of the staff, offered a free drink and biscuits (biscuits = big plus). Comfy seating at tables which was far better than regimented rows and meant as a family or group unit you could still be together and not leaning across lots of people to talk (when the performance not on :) ). Nice bar, nice atmosphere..struggling to even be hyper critical

Great theatre where I have been to many productions (serious ones, farces and pantos) all brilliant in their own right.
Seats around 100 people and very social atmosphere with little round tables and a free glass of wine or juice and biscuits upon arrival is included in the already cheap ticket price which is a great perk. For those where 1 drink isn't enough, there is a VERY reasonable licensed bar, with tea and coffee too.
Great lot of actors too, they have won Godiva Awards for their performances and recently got through to the semi-finals of the All England Theatre Festival.

They have a website so booking is easy www.wheatsheafplayers.com and a facebook page search for Wheatsheaf Players where you can keep up to date on productions and cast news..

Thoroughly a great evening out, would highly recommend! :o) They also run quiz nights once a month.

What a superb venue . Warm and friendly. Very good value for money and within walking distance from home. The small bar has a variety of drinks including tea and coffee and productions are very entertaining. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
