My wife and I recently visited to see some snooker being played. The snooker venue, Jaguar Hall 2, was excellent; but had slightly less seating than expected. Whilst not a problem for viewing, for our seat allocations were spot-on; it did echo a bit within the Ricoh Centre when we came out for a break, as this was the only event taking place.
The bar area was open, although the Gentlemen's toilets were sized for the bar, and not the event. First time I have had to queue for years! I'm told there was another set of toilets the opposite side of Jaguar Hall 2, but some people did get lost trying to find them. The fast food in the bar area (burgers & hot dogs)was excellent, with locally sourced meats - a pleasant surprise! Lots of seating to eat your food. Staff were very attentive and helpful.
We stayed in a very local hotel, and walked to the venue. Whilst there was ample car parking space, I could see how it could get frustrating if the car park was full.
