“A fab place to visit ”
Reviewed 16 June 2014 via mobile

An absolute must place to visit in Coventry, loads of artifacts about the two tone scene and to think for the last 15 years I have drove past the place weekly! Need to organise a revisit as there's so much to take in and if you're hungry then the cafe in the complex is fab too!

“Musical Utopia”
Reviewed 15 June 2014

A marvellous place to visit highlighting Coventry's rich music heritage. The museum covers the bands that have emerged locally plus the notable bands that have had memorable gigs here in the past. Bands and solo artists have been very generous in loaning clothes, musical instruments, records and other precious items that cannot fail to evoke pleasurable memories for visitors. Pete Chambers and his wife deserve a lot of credit for putting all of this together, their enthusiasm seems to know no bounds! If you are living in or visiting Coventry this is a must see!!

“A must see for everybody!”
Reviewed 13 June 2014

Our third visit to the Two-Tone Village. An absolute must, whether you're a music fan or not. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. Great choice of clothing and merchandise (music, sport etc, with many autographed items), not to mention details of local events and ticket sales. The Two-Tone Cafe offers fantastic food (English and Caribbean, snacks and mains) at very good prices, and the service is second to none. Muse around the museum - Pete Chambers is always happy to talk to you. We will definitely be visiting - as often as possible! Personally I think the museum itself is worth more than the entry fee charged (£2 a head). You might also get the opportunity to meet some of the Two-Tone stars themselves. Entrance to the village is free - only entrance to the museum is charged.

“This one goes up to 11...”
Reviewed 10 June 2014

Flying visit to my home town, Coventry. Met up with friends and their three children at The 2-Tone Village. We particularly enjoyed the bedroom mock up and I embarrassed myself in front of the cool kids, comparing the record player to today's modern CD player, then realised even that has been replaced by downloads and MP3 players and the like! Something for everyone at this fantastic museum. I bought a t-shirt and will be wearing it around Berlin's finest music venues, telling everyone about the Coventry Music Museum. Oh yes, I mustn't forget to mention the fantastic home made cakes in the cafe downstairs, and the Caribbean restaurant next to it. Me and my mates sat there for ages, reminiscing :-)
