Visited here for a night. Arrived at the chalet style room. Missing and dirty crockery and the bed cover was grubby and had a large hole in it. Hotel staff were friendly but the hotel layout is scattered and fragmented. The buffet cooked breakfast was tepid and soon went cold on the plate.

The hotel is situated on the A45 which is a dual carriageway which makes getting back into the city centre of Coventry quite a detor and expensive if using a taxi - be warned it'll add another £10 to your bill.

Had a nice stay here with lovely views over the lake and golf course from our window! really nice and peaceful..we had a family room and the double bed was MASSIVE!! its probably the biggest bed ive ever seen..and really comfy. The staff were all pleasant and helpful. The room was however really really hot..stifling infact, BUT it was the hottest day of the year so far though..so maybe it couldnt be helped, we did have a small fan on the sideboard but it did nothing!

Only real negative about this place is the location, if driving in from Coventry its relatively easy to find..BUT on leaving there is no other way BACK to Coventry other than to drive a whole length like a good 10 mins of dual cariageway to find a road to double back on yourself, to then drive all the way BACK down the dual carriageway the other way..its a bit of a trek...i stayed here for a wedding and although the wedding was beautifully done, ALOT of people really felt the taxi prices home to Coventry afterwards.

This hotel was booked for my colleagues and I when we exhibited at the NEC in Birmingham. It was very convenient for the NEC and took approximately 15 minutes to get there every day. The hotel is a very typical Golf resort with rooms in the main building and suites located around the grounds of the hotel. I was booked into one of the suites which are very clean, spacious and quiet. There is definitely an advantage in one of these suites in summer but I suspect during the colder wetter months it may not be as convenient to access the bars and restaurant.
We ate in the restaurant on the first evening and it was a real pleasure. Not only did we manage to get a good deal with the hotel for a dinner rate, the food was excellent. There was a very good choice of dishes that were very well prepared and served by some very good staff.
Overall the hotel for location, value and service was very good and I will stay there again if I find myself in the area on business. I did not try the golf facilities but would like to next time I stay.

Room Tip: The "chalet" type suites are not connected to the hotel under cover. Not a problem unless...

Had an overnight stay with friends, hotel rooms overlooking golf course very nice, golf course itself quite short in length but a good challenge. Evening meal was absolutely stunning particularly when the waiter explained there was only 1 chef on duty and he had been abit streched. Would definitely stay again.

We stayed for 3 nights in April and had a very pleasant stay. The rooms had good quality furnishings and were cleaned to a high standard. We had a lovely view over the golf course. Breakfast was good and the evening meal was extremely tasty. The food was varied, well cooked and beautifully presented. It was quite posh with smallish portions but plenty for us when indulging in three courses. It is very reasonable priced and we will definitely return as is an ideal halfway base for family gatherings.

I stayed in one of the challet like rooms a short walk from the main hotel itself and it felt like I was staying in a Butlins not a 4 star hotel! I also found it near on impossible to find though I'm sure that was my fault. Its situated on a dual carriage way which you have to drive to the end of to double back on yourself to be on the right carriage to turn off into the hotel.

Room Tip: Its opposite the Quality Inn!

Just back from a two night stay which was generally pleasant. We stayed in a room outside of the main hotel building which was a decent size and clean apart from a few stains on the carpet. The only real reason that this hotel gets an average rating was the noise we heard from the room above ours. It was really loud at times, footsteps, talking, snoring, which I haven't personally experienced to this extent from a stay at a hotel previously. Otherwise, the setting is nice and Coventry very accessible by car.
