Our room was a family room with balcony overlooking the golf course
Room facilities were good and clean
could maybe have a couple of chairs on balcony to sit out
Restaurant service was good in fact all staff were lovely
Swimming pool was a big hit with the grandaughter and we swam every day

one drawback was hotel was on a one way road and you have to go quite far to turn and go the other way

Our stay here was pre Olympic event so 8 of us out of the family stayed. Very pleasant with lovely views over the golf course, 2 twin rooms were very comfortable, clean and of a good size The family room was in the older part of the hotel but was ideal for parents and 2 children.
Breakfast good plenty to choose from. We used the swim pool and gym also of a good size.
The only comments I would make would be the rooms were very warm and the service in the bar for food was also slow.
Would we come back yes definitely and would recommend to others.

Room Tip: room 217 twin room room 3 family room

We were transferred here after originally booking their sister hotel,The Manor Hotel. We were placed in an upstairs room in one of the outbuildings (take a coat as we got wet going to the restaurant). We felt the room was mediocre with old fashioned décor and furniture and were disappointed it was a triple room. The main bed was 2 singles joined together and only one had a valance sheet on it. The bed itself was very soft and uncomfortable as you could feel the join. There are stairs everywhere (to the bar, restaurant and leisure facilities) which isn't good for someone with mobility issues. The evening meal was excellent quality and choice and the staff were very friendly and professional. Breakfast was tasty with a good selection but the sausages were under cooked on the inside. Although it is ideally situated with excellent views I wouldn't stop here again and if I did I would request the main hotel.

We stayed for two nights in July. Our room was overlooking the golf course although the view was interrupted by trees. Overall the room was very comfortable although it was very warm at night. We should have requested a fan.Breakfast was very good with a large selection. The hotel was clean and well organised although the staff at reception could have been more helpful when booking in, we had to wait until 2.30pm. We did not use the pool but played golf, the rates were very competitive at £12 for a Saturday afternoon round. We would definetly return as the rates are very competitive and we have family living nearby, next time we would book a package including Dinner. The quality of food was very good in the evening but service very slow mainly due to the resturant being extgremley busy. We would receommend the Bull in Meridien we had a great meal.

Room Tip: Ask for a quiet room, this is a hotel for wedding parties

A very pleasant stay for myself and five relatives. The very friendly, efficient and smiling staff in particular made this stay an excellent one; from the reception desk to the breakfast room, also the wonderful Emily in the leisure centre. Well done. All of the rooms were comfortable, great for sleep; with all of the appliances to make a stay relaxing ie.tea making facilities, iron, trouser press etc. The hotel is amazingly quiet, maybe because everyone is busy on the golf course. The rural scenery beyond the golf greens includes the yellow and green of crops, which overall makes for a lovely view, and yet so close to Coventry. There are areas where improvements can be made, and where there were some minor disappointments: the small size of the twin room; the food and drink were expensive; room service was advertised as being 24 hours, but it was exceptionally limited after 9.30pm, to drinks and sandwiches. I would recommend this hotel highly.

Room Tip: a room with a view, even if it overlooks the golf course, is far more pleasant.

We recently stayed for a two night weekend break at this hotel and would definitely return. The hotel is set in beautiful grounds with lovely views from the restaurant over the golf course. We stayed in one of the little 'cottages' in the grounds of the hotel. The room was small & cosy but had everything we needed. The staff, in all areas of the hotel, were very friendly & helpful. The meals we had in the restaurant were superb being very well presented & good value for money.
We made full use of the leisure club which was lovely with a good sized pool, jacuzzi, sauna & steam room. There was however part of the pool sectioned off for childrens swimming lessons which were taking place while we were there. The fitness suite was very well equipped with modern high spec equipment. All in all it was a beautiful hotel that was excellent value for money and I wouldn't hesitate in recommending it.

We have just spent the weekend at this hotel and can not wait to go back again, the restaurant was wonderful with fantastic food on offer and the Restaurant Manger was excellent. The desert menu was better than most resturants and the breakfast was also very good.

Used the pool every day, good size and very freindly, rooms were comfortable and its location is ideal for many attractions in the area, would recommend for a nice wekend away.
