“2nd time of staying”
Reviewed 11 August 2014

A clean, comfortable budget hotel ideally situated for the reason we stayed. This was the 2nd time of using this hotel and would/will be using again. It would benefit from having air con installed but they do provide rooms with large fans so they do appreciate that the rooms need some type of air cooling system. Perhaps one day air con will be installed :)
Bonus, on this trip, was that the wifi was free for the duration of the stay. Apparently a new wifi system was being tested so access wasn't limited while the testing was going on. Hopefully the testing is for permanent free access as I noticed that there is now another grade of access offered which would probably cover business users as it's payable when large files in excess of a certain limit are required to be downloaded. Would be good if PI was catching up with other hotels on the free wifi.
One criticism - PI have increased the price of their breakfasts. The continental is now £6.25 and, for a bowl of fruit and a couple of slices of toast it's extortionate. Luckily there's a Morrison's supermarket next to this particular PI so a quick trip there, £10 to £15 spent on fruit and cereal bars and 4 breakfasts, 4 desserts and 2 evenings of munchies was taken care of. Sorry PI but breakfasts will no longer be purchased unless a 3rd tier is introduced for those with the appetite of a bird :)

This is a lovely Premier Inn very clean & comfortable but there breakfast is in TGI's just next door we went in about 9.30am there was very little left on the continental breakfast side we had to wait for cups & tea bags opted to go for the full english big mistake worst breakfast I've ever had everything was either over cooked or swimming in grease didn't look at all appetising & really wasn't a good standard we must have waited 30 mins for it to be served as it's not help yourself . We would definitely stay here again but certainly would go elsewhere for breakfast .

A very warm welcome, very comfortable rooms that were very clean. All in all very good value for money if your looking for a budget hotel on the outskirts of Coventry. I will certainly be using it again.

Really impressed with the staff at this hotel. They were incredibly helpful and really friendly. They didn't just help but they also used their initiative and looked for ways to help us. Highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel is next door to TGI Fridays, and the A46 on a retail park with Morrisons, Lidl, M&S Food, B&Q all a short drive away. The room overlooked the side of the TGI's, not the best view, but we were there to sleep. There was no air conditioning at all, just a fan. It was like trying to sleep in a sauna. My husband told the receptionist about our lack of sleep in the morning, and all she said was, "yes it was really hot last night, we do need air conditioning" No mention of I'll call the manager for your money back. The was a sticky something on the carpet, and other not so clean areas. They are trialling free WIFI, it didn't work at all. Unfortunately a very disappointing stay, we won't be rushing back.

I was in Coventry on a course for a few days so decided to book into one of the City's Premier Inn's....................had a nightmare finding it because mt sat nav packed up, but the receptionist was very helpful and eventually I managed to find it.

Very modern and up to the usual excellant high standard, there is a TGI Friday's next door, but it is a bit pricey so if you need a hearty meal or just a cold beer there's a great pub just accross the road.

Located on a small retail park, with a McDonald's, Morrissons, M&S food Outlet it's an ideal location and the City centre is not too far away. Thoroughly recommended and I'd stay again next time I'm down that way

Room Tip: I had a first floor room overlooking the car park, pretty quiet, but some road noise
