“Hot tea and scones on a chilly wet day”
Reviewed 22 July 2014

Ducked into Belinda's as the sky was opening up with a steady rain. For a building that started out as a horse barn, a few hundred years ago, Belinda's has come a long way. Grand tea service and delicious scones in a setting that just oozes character and history.

“Olde Worlde Building. Modern Food”
Reviewed 3 July 2014

Nothing to dislike. Staff friendly and polite. Food very good. Nice little courtyard at the back for outiside dining, or to just have a cuppa. Cakes are all homemade, and there are items on sale in the shop

“A 16th CENTURY TEA ROOM WITH A 21st CENTURY SERVICE”
Reviewed 26 June 2014

After 6 hours visiting the Arundel Castel [the days of Medieval Tournament] we visited the town of Arundel for a afternoon tea.
In a vertical, to High street , road we found by pure fortune, Belinda's Tearooms and we got one of the best 5 o’ clock tea with one of the lowest prices i have paid the last 12 months.
Because of the baby , we got with us , we took a table inside the tea room but I saw and an open air section .
The staff was very helpful especially when aroused an urgent need for hot water for the baby.
Good lay out , very good prices and excellent staff , few yards from the High Str.

“More than just a tea-room”
Reviewed 20 June 2014

Arundel may be looking a bit tired and overpriced theses days but take a turning off the expensive Main Drag and find Belinda's lovely tea-rooms and restaurant haklf-way along Tarrant Street. Nice food, quick and amiable service plus a pleasant atmosphere. We three had lunch, all choosing the £7.95 Cottage pie off the specials board as the fixed menu did seem a bit dear (£9.50 for scampi and chips). Delicious cakes followed and all in all a saisfactory venture. Most impressive, too, was a clever way of making the pay-up formalities quick and easy to follow. Its a bit cramped for room in there on a sunny day but each table has a number and you just quote that when you go up to the counter to pay your bill at the end. Highlight of a fairly dull day out in this once-attractive town (now a cash-hungry tourist-trap - even the parking is extortionate, a coach-driver informs me.)
