We traveled from Virginia (USA) because we believed my husbands ancesters came from this area. Because of the Queens Jubilee, the official offices were closed. Instead we enjoyed a wonderfully relaxed and fun vacation in this fantastic cottage. Michelle was so attentive to our needs that Pete said he wanted to come back to Arundal and live. The cottage setting was like a fairy tale. The garden was beautiful and quiet except for the birds singing. We found a great restuarant (The Bay Tree) within a short walk. Several citizens were very helpful in giving us names of local people with the same last name of Pete's family. The only thing wrong with our stay was that I never got to the Castle. Thank you Michelle.

“Perfect getaway for a couple”
Reviewed 22 July 2012 for a stay in July 2012

This beautiful little cottage is perfect for two people for a weekend (or longer). Michelle the owner is so welcoming and the cottage is beautiful. There was a basket of delicious goodies for breakfast and fruit provided. Everything was spotlessly clean.

The cottage is walking distance to everywhere in Arundel. There are lots of pubs to visit and the castle is amazing.

There is a very steep staircase up to the loft bedroom so if you have an issue with stairs it might be a problem, but for us it was lovely to have the light and airy bedroom upstairs.

Michelle made booking very easy and couldn't have been more helpful. Thank you. We would certainly stay there again if visiting Arundel

“The perfect place to get away from it all!”
Reviewed 14 January 2012 for a stay in October 2011

I chose Benjamin Cottage for a short break for myself and my husband as it looked so clean and tranquil - we were not let down at all. The cottage is compact but absolutely perfect in the way that it is set out. Everything has been thought of to make for a comfortable stay, right down to a basket of provisions which was left on the worktop and milk and butter in the fridge, we could not have asked for more. It is a very short walk to the pubs and restaurants in the centre of Arundel and we would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone.
