Owner description: A great place for birdwatching.

Love this place! Changes with the seasons are fascinating and the chance of seeing a water vole is exciting.
My 2 year old niece loves feeding the ducks and other water birds, actually learning to walk in the centre.
Gift shop and cafe are well situated and varied.
A pleasant day out for the old and young.
We visit the site at least every 3 months.

We used our Airmiles (Avios) points for membership and really pleased we did. Day visits can be expensive (very expensive café) but there's lots to do.

As well as the usual walk around to see the ducks and geese etc, usually on Sundays there's craft activities for the kids and a "guide in the hide". Pond dipping, couple of play grounds and the boat ride.

One of the play parks (tree creepers) has had a climbing frame out of action for over a year now - which is a real disappointment.

Great place to visit and as members we don't mind if it rains as we can always go again another day.

First time visitor and well impressed by size of site, accessibility for wheelchair users to the hides, boardwalks. Good value for a family day out as kids have their own play area, plus many activities during school hols. Admission price includes boat safari which lasts approx 20 mins and photo opportunity for spotting wild life up close. Near by is Arundel Castle and the town for more exploring.

Although not a serious bird watcher I thoroughly enjoyed our morning at the WWT. With the Arundel floodplain on one side of WWT and thickly wooded hills on the other side it made for a most attractive landscape. The centre covers over 60 acres and whilst the car park seemed fairly full once inside the Wetlands it didn't seem in any way crowded and we were able to move around the hides and lakes with ease. Inclusive in the entry cost was a boat ride through the reeds and marshland which was very enjoyable particularly when our guide took us up close to a water vole.

The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The cafe is clean and tidy, and most food is cooked to order. If you live near to one of the centres annual membership is extremely good value.
