Plenty of parking, which there isn't in Arundel. The room was comfortable and clean. No frills, but ideal for an overnight stop. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast in the adjacent Beefeater was excellent. It's about a mile from the centre of Arundel.

The usual friendly welcome and efficiency was surpassed on this trip when the female receptionist who had phoned to check to make sure we were still coming and whether we wanted to book dinner (you will be asked this a lot via email/text too!) went that extra mile to locate the nearest car tyre replacement depot for a punctured tyre problem we had on route. Wow and Thanks!
Check in was easy and as I’ve said super friendly efficient.
Room was typical Premier Inn. Nice size, clean and functional. The bed as has been said is so much more comfortable than Travelodge. Also, unlike Travelodge, a glass is provided (instead of a weak, crumply plastic one), body soap for hands and bath is provided (as opposed to none). Usual selections of tea, coffee. Generous free parking.
This Premier Inn is attached to a Beefeater type restaurant and so the hassles of finding a place to eat at breakfast (roll out of bed) or dinner (roll into bed) are removed. IF you care for that type of menu. Otherwise Arundel has plenty of tea shops and some restaurants. None are however within a short walking distance. So you will need a car (park on main road below castle which is free unlike the car park on same road near the castle entrance) unless you fancy a big walk. Arundel train station is very close by at 0.5 miles or a walk down the hill (no noise into rooms from this) if you fancy further afield to sightsee/eat e.g. Chichester. There are some very nice country pubs hidden away very nearby eg The George in Eartham. The Black Rabbit, Offham, Arundel, is probably the most famous. A famous historic pub-restaurant the Black Rabbit is situated right on the River Arun. Check its web site. One of the best times to go is sunset when the view from this place out across the reeds and watery lands towards the castle are from another world. Nearest supermarkets are Littlehampton which has both Waitrose and Sainsbury.
Slindon and Eartham woods are within reach and well worth a visit. Parking is easy in designated places. Managed by the NT or Forestry commission. A 65 acre Wildfowl & Wetlands Trust is located in Arundel, check web site for what is on when.
It is worth mentioning that the entry to this hotel is easy from the main A27 road but the exit back onto it can be a nightmare as it is an extremely busy road virtually non-stop traffic going in both directions. Be warned!

Not quite in Arundel, but only a short drive. Good stop for Newhaven ferry in the morning. Very quiet and comfortable. Good budget room for a family. We stayed on a Saturday night and found Arundel a nice place to visit on a stop over on the way to the ferry.

Room Tip: Rooms on the back probably quietest.

My first visit to a Premier Inn and I was very very surprised. The staff were all very polite and helpful, the check in was faultless. Room was spotlessly clean, well appointed and very comfortable. The bed was better than at home !!!! The linen crisp and of great quality.
The outside could do with a run round with a broom but for the money it was hard to find fault.
I will definately use Premier inn again based on my experience at Arundel.

We stayed here for a long weekend and the Hotel is excellent. Staff are very helpful, rooms clean and tidy. We had the breakfast package at the attached Beefeater restaurant and this was excellent as well. Overall we cannot fault the stay and place, well worth a visit.

Just returned from a 3 night stay in Arundel. The hotel rooms are spotlessly clean and the beds were comfortable. The only complaint was the noise from the room above us which was almost constant on one night. The breakfasts were lovely and service excellent. We did eat in the Beefeater on our first night, and whilst the food was ok it was a little pricey and nothing special.
We will be staying here again I'm sure
