Tidy clean room, as is the rest of the hotel, comfortable bed, friendly desk staff. Easy to find place, good parking and a good phone signal from the room. Didn't try the free wifi that's available. Slightly set back from the road so quiet.

Visiting Arundel for the first time for over 20 years I was looking forward to 4 days of cricket at the Duke of Norfolk's ground and the five hour drive[with stoppages] to get to this jewel of a town in West Sussex seemed well worth the effort after arrival at the Premier Inn. The meet and greet was up to its usual standards. The room as you would expect with the Premier Inn brand was clean and comfortable and the good night's sleep guarantee was vindicated. The only downside of the whole stay was the meal in the Beefeater Restaurant on the Sunday. Yes it was Father's Day. Yes the restaurant was more or less full to capacity the very pleasant staff were stretched and busy but after such a long drive I was expecting a relaxing and nourishing meal. To say the experience was disappointing is an understatement. The prawn cocktail was adequate as a starter and well presented. The wait for it was understandab le given the numbers waiting to be served. However the mains after a wait of around 40 minutes was poor with vegetables uncooked and inadequate after such a long journey. I had to chase it up and it miraculously appeared after a word to the waitress. I did not order a dessert as I was tired and had. run out of patience. Given such a negative experience I was apprehensive what breakfast time would be like I am pleased to say my fears were unfounded and breakfast was excellent on all the mornings of my stay. The full English was cooked to order as it should be and it provided a good foundation for the rest of the day. Staff were courteous and helpful. Well done to all concerned. After a dodgy start it turned out to be another winner for Premier Inns although I did not avail myself of the evening restaurant facilities again.

Dear Guest

I was pleased that you were happy with the reception you received on arrival and the great comments that you made concerning the staff and accommodation.
I do apologise for the wait at the restaurant, as you said it was Fathers Day and they were exceptionally busy. It’s always advisable to book a table at the restaurant, which you could later cancel if you no longer needed it.
The good news is it all ended with a positive, ‘The Premier Inn Breakfast’ and the usual high standard of customer service you’ve come to expect.
Thank you once again for your review

Lovely welcome. Nothing too much trouble. Staff really lovely and go out of their way to help.
Breakfast really good value for money.
Room clean. Bed sooooooo comfy and lovely fluffy pillows.
Highly recommend staying here.
Staff will give directions on the best places to visit in and around Arundel.

Room Tip: We had room 26 which was not noisy at all.

Very friendly helpful staff clean comfortable room, spoilt by noisy guests 'banging about', upstairs throughout the night!
Received a refund under the 'goodnight guarantee', staff very apologetic refund done without any quibble.
The hotel was full with lots of families staying, some who left early in the morning which may have contributed to the noise.
That aside the room was fine and the Premier Inn is nicely situated in Arundel if you are sight seeing.

Friendly staff. Clean, well-appointed and spacious room with very comfortable bed. Only minor disappointment was the standard of the continental breakfast - seems to be an emphasis on providing quantity over quality for the money.

We stayed here as family (husband, 3yr old and 3month old) for a few days. Was a nice base for a few days visiting the area.
When we arrived a lady was being trained and we had to wait a few minutes, whilst the lady who could check us in was off the phone.
Once we were in our room it was perfectly clean and had everything we needed.
I do think the Beefeater lets the hotel down and it needs a little TLC to both buildings as it looks a little old/cracked/dull.

Have stayed here many times before.
Once again the standards at this Premier Inn were excellent. The room was very clean and comfortable. the staff were as usual very friendly and helpful, especially Maurice.

The stay was let down by the poor service with the provision of food in the adjoining Beefeater.
We appreciate when times are busy, but one evening we were in there for 2 hours for a two course meal and one breakfast we were there for nearly an hour. People coming in after us had their orders taken before us. There seemed to be no system of knowing who was coming in for ordering. The Monday service was v good but the Tuesday session well, we even had a carpet fitter replacing stair treads to a raised eating area while we were trying to get up/down the stairs(if they knew this work was being done the area should have been closed off to customers)
Some breakfast customers, who hadn't been there before and were obviously confused, were not even offered assistance.

The management of this Beefeater really need to look at their staffing levels and staff training in the Restaurant.

Not Good Beefeater !!!!!
