lovely fresh setting. Staff are very accommodating and welcoming.
Food tasting and filling. Garlic mushrooms are scrummy.
All dishes so far tried - no problem.
Vouchers good value - wine perhaps getting expensive per bottle
But glass is good for you!

Went to Ask Italian in Chichester because there was nothing on TV.
Greeted promptly by manager 'billy' and shown to a lovely table, We were offered menus and asked if we wanted drinks. It was just a wonderful evening of great service and lovely food. It may have involved simple pasta, but the presentation and quality of the ingredients made it a great night out.
I would recommend this restaurant to anyone. Thank you to David and the lovely little blonde (sorry I forget your name) for your attention.

A group of us dined here on a monday evening. When we arrived we were ignored for 5 minutes, despite having booked a table. When we were eventualy seated it took over 15minutes for someone to take our drinks order we then had to wait ages for the beverages to arrive and then a 30minute wait for our food. The restuarant was very busy and there was a noisy kids party. I thought booking a monday eve it would be quiet but i was wrong! The food was nice but certainly not outstanding, and i felt that the portions were on the small side and the prices were high. Having said that, the childrens menu was excellent value, 3 courses for under £7. All in all it was just ok, a bit too noisy for me. This isnt a place for couples wanting a romantic quiet meal! I cannot fault the staff though, they were all lovely, so helpful and friendly.

Our party of 4 was seated straight away and our waitress was on the case very promptly. The food arrived in an agreeably short time and was tucked into with gusto. Although two drinks and one main mail from the menu were not available our waitress did offer suitable alternatives and it did not detract from our enjoyment of the evening. I did get a bit uncomfortable after a while due to a radiator being next to my legs so maybe these could be switched off after the restaurant has become full? A pleasant evening was had by all.
