“Superb museum and guided tour”
Reviewed 20 July 2014

The beautiful mosaics and other artefacts make this well worth a visit. We had two tours, of about 20 minutes each, and the enthusiasm of the guide was really infectious, and very explanatory. Hard to believe it was buried so long and rediscovered by accident. What was the reason for its existence, and why was it so big?

“Very Interesting Site”
Reviewed 20 July 2014

We spent a very enjoyable hour or so wandering and they have done a great job displaying the mosaics and the remains that they have. The model showed what it may have looked like and it is a shame that they could not attempt a "reconstruction" of the wing that they have. Well worth a visit

“veni vidi vici”
Reviewed 16 July 2014 via mobile

At least a half days worth of attraction. Worth following the free guided tour to make sense of this palace and it's several hundred year evolution. A good attraction for both rainy and sunny days. Photography is allowed and there is a cafe on site.
