After a brilliant matinee performance of The Pajama Game in the Minerva Theatre we dined in the Brasserie. Our waiter told us he had worked behind the bar in the main theatre but now was head waiter in this restauran. It is obviously well deserved as he was friendly, professional and an excellent waiter.

My daughter and I shared the starter and the dessert so that we could sample all three courses. We shared a duck and pork rillette terrine with toast and my husband had the quenelle of salmon and crab with creamed spinach and lobster sauce. For our main courses we chose the tagine, the chicken pie and the pasta. Again my daughter and I shared the trio of Field & Fork desserts. The food was very good, the service impeccable but the portions were small. Two courses cost £19.95 and three courses were £24.95.

Service sloppy and food run of the mill. It is a shame as the position is perfect for pretheatre supper, we have tried it several times hoping it would improve it really needs an update.

This is NOT the current caterers Caper and Berry.
We took over in April 2014 and are still waiting for Trip Advisor to remove these comments.

We rather take The Brasserie for granted, always there for us after another stunning theatrical treat, this year Kiss Me Kate, situated opposite the theatre such a well designed and pleasant palace to eat.The menu is not extensive or expensive but just right! service is always impressive, very accomodating staff who in an ever busy scene cope well.I would recommend eating here as a must do after the show,or on it's own
