After a brilliant matinee performance of The Pajama Game in the Minerva Theatre we dined in the Brasserie. Our waiter told us he had worked behind the bar in the main theatre but now was head waiter in this restauran. It is obviously well deserved as he was friendly, professional and an excellent waiter.
My daughter and I shared the starter and the dessert so that we could sample all three courses. We shared a duck and pork rillette terrine with toast and my husband had the quenelle of salmon and crab with creamed spinach and lobster sauce. For our main courses we chose the tagine, the chicken pie and the pasta. Again my daughter and I shared the trio of Field & Fork desserts. The food was very good, the service impeccable but the portions were small. Two courses cost £19.95 and three courses were £24.95.
