Crouchers was exactly what we were looking for a short break from London. We took the bed and breakfast and dinner option. The food at dinner and breakfast was first class as was the service from staff. The staff were friendly and made our stay really enjoyable. The accommodation was clean and very comfortable. The road outside is busy but we were not disturbed by traffic noise in our room. We were disturbed in the early morning by a heavy footed guest upstairs but that isn't the hotel's fault. Just the luck of the draw I suppose. May be better to choose higher numbered rooms which I think are in a single storey building. The trade-off is use of the patio garden which our room had direct access to.
Car parking is not a problem as the car park is huge. The hotel is well signposted after the first settlement on the main road from the A27. It's on the left in open country as you approach Birdham.

ATAG Heating are a local company that use this wonderful hotel for our quests on a reqular basis.
Always very friendly staff, very clean rooms, excellant restuarant with a very good choice of wines. All our company guests love the breakfast.
We also use this venue for our company Christmas party.

Booked out the whole hotel for guests to stay in after our daughters wedding.
Staff very friendly and helpful, and we had asked for as many rooms as possible to be ready before normal book in time, as guests needed to change, they managed to do this for us.
Food was excellent

Stayed two nights on D,B & B basis (extra for dinners that exceeded £25). All was good - food, accommodation, staff. Everyone was friendly & helpful, though they did get in a bit of a muddle in the restaurant on Sunday evening, mostly with other people! Conveniently located for Chichester & Chichester Harbour though I would not call it a country manor as situated on a busy road & gardens not very extensive. Our room was to rear of complex & had private patio looking out to fields, had lovely bathroom & all facilities one expects in a reasonable hotel.

Comfortable friendly hotel. Room very nice, we had a patio which really added to it as we could sit outside on our own. Restaurant very nice & food excellent. Carlo definitely a character & great with the customers. Expensive but worth it, we've booked again for June so that says it all. Staff very helpful and friendly, you can relax there.
