I stayed here with 12 of my work colleagues, the staff were extremely polite and helpful. The food in the restaurant is absolutely top class. I'd say near michelin-star level. I phoned the hotel to make the booking and asked for a bed breakfast and evening meal deal. he said they weren't doing any deals at the moment but he had a think and came back with a great deal, making it an even more pleasant stay. I am definately going to return very soon with other friends to stay here because the rooms are immaculate (we, and two other couples) were given four poster beds, everything was of a particularly high spec. The staff are a credit to this establishment, everyone there really does try to make your stay extremely comfortable, these are very hard to find!!

The hotel is on a country road about 2.5 miles out of Chichester, so if you stay there you it is more convenient to have a car or be prepared to pay for a taxi. The room was of a reasonable size, modern as was the en-suite, and the bed was generously sized and comfortable.

The room was clean without fabric stains or chipped furniture. We had not intended eating dinner there, but plans changed and we were very happy with the quality of the food and its preparation and presentation. I would stay there again.

I arrived here after a 500 mile trip and dd not want to be away that night. When I arrived and was shown to my room I was really pleasantly surprised. The hotel looks a little like a motel from the outside but is far from it on the inside. It is a really nice area, surrounded by beautiful countryside. The rooms are smart, clean and well equipped, with nice clean modern bathroom. My room had a patio with lovely views across the adjoining fields. I sat outside and chilled for an hour, pure bliss. Went to the bar and restaraunt, the food was top drawer, absolutley beautiful and the yound staff where a delight, friendly, courteous and attentive. The breakfast was also very nice. As a business traveller I stay away 2-3 nights a week. If everywhere was like Crouchers, it would not be a chore. I felt happy and relaxed from the moment I arrived until the moment I left. Will definitely go and stay again.

Driven past this place for a decade on the way to boat at the marina. Now been staying here for about a month. So have an enormous 'sample' of the food, service and rooms (stayed in 3). The decor is contemporary without being cold and coporate. The management have clearly scoured the locale for the most attractive and helpful bar and restuarant staff. The food is excellent (not a whiff of Brakes), inventive and interesting. The diner has a choice of a very reasonably priced set menu or the fuller A La Carte offer. The rooms, at least the three I stayed in are good. This place also represents excellent value for money.

Although on approach the hotel looks like a motel, do not be discouraged. The young staff are delightful and efficient, especially in the dining room, and the set dinner menu is great value with superb cooking.
Our accommodation was described as "luxury double bedroom" but wasn't, with much of the room being occupied by the four-poster bed which also partially obscured the fixed tv. However, more spacious rooms are available.
Excellent location for access to W Wittering beach and to view the Roman mosaics at nearby Fishbourne and Bignor ( here a most beautiful rural setting).
