Have just had two nights at this lovely hotel. ALL the staff we came across were pleasant, friendly and helpful. Was greeted at reception with a smile and this happened everytime we went to reception - they know how important smiles are as well efficiency. The room we had was number 38. It was lovely but hot - the hotel cant be held responsible for the weather but they had put two fans in the room which helped a lot. The room and bathroom were clean and nicely decorated. Had dinner in Murrays on the first night - great food and service. Breakfast was good, not sure about the coffee though. Loved the old fashioned lift. Good location for shops and theatre.
