Just back from overnight stay in Chichester with family. We had been to West Wittering beach & we were enroute to Peppa Pig World. Great hotel, with central location. Our family room overlooked the Cathedral - which was fab. The room was a good size & bed was really comfortable. As mentioned previously there is no cafe/restaurant on site, but the Weatherspoon's opposite is fine. Would recommend & stay again. The guy on reception was friendly too.

This hotel has just been refurbed - and it shows. Rooms were well appointed nad beds were very comfortable. The main selling point was the location - 50 yards from the cathedral and town centre. If you book early enough you can get a very good rate for the hotel. One drawback is that there is no cafe/restaurant on site, but thgere's a Weatherspoons (literally) just acoss the road & plenty of other places to get brekfast/meals

Just back from visiting our son and stayed at the Travelodge again. Since our last visit the hotel has been refurbed our room was opposite the cathedral on the main road and with the double glazing we had a peaceful two nights sleep, this was helped by the new Sleepezee beds so comfortable. Although there is no breakfast on offer the problem is solved by having a Wetherspoon's opposite, the staff as always are so helpful.

The hotel is on Chapel Street right next to the wonderful Cathedral. You couldn't ask for a better spot for a Travelodge. Comfortable bed and very quiet rooms - we've stayed there twice. Reception staff are efficient and polite. No issues other than I haven't yet stayed in a Travelodge that has more than the one chair per room, and this is no exception. Who knows why this seems to be their standard provision? Parking in the Council-run underground car park nearby is free from 6pm to 8am. The Belle Isle bar/eatery on Chapel Street beneath the hotel has a nice buzz. There's the usual choice of restaurant chains in the town, within easy walking distance.

Remember, this hotel is city centre - some areas in the building are quieter than others, so ask for a quiet spot if you are after a lie-in. The rooms have been refurbished, and the new beds are the highlight (you may have been enemies with your alarm clock before, but you will definitely hate it now).

Returned to this hotel, this time not on my own but with my husband. We had arranged respite care for the young men we look after, and for the dog,so we could have a break together, after years of taking breaks on our own.......and guess what? He was poorly all week!!
The staff could not have been more helpful. They made up another bed in our room,so he could have the big bed all to himself, and really went out of their way to be kind.
The new double beds are excellent,so comfortable....I shall be back in 4 weeks and this time I can have the bed all to myself!
The hotel itself is in a great position, right in the city, and everywhere so easy to get to,and loads of great restaurants....go to Trents for breakfast.
But the best thing about this hotel is the staff.Bruno is a star, and everyone else brilliant too
Thank you so much...see you in 4 weeks.

Room Tip: With a view of the cathedral
