Spent three nights here on business. The hotel is in a great location on a side street next to the cathedral right in the centre of town. The room was basic but ok apart from the heat. We were there during hot weather and the rooms were way too hot - they are not air conditioned nor can you open the windows more than a couple of inches. Due to the high temperature on the room I probably had the worst three nights sleep I've had in ages.
My company's policy of booking bed and breakfast meant I got a breakfast box - personally I wouldn't recommend it. There are plenty of cafes and Wetherspoons nearby which do breakfast and you'll probably enjoy it more.

Having been a frequent user of Travel Lodge in the past before moving to Australia, it was my first choice on my return to the UK for a holiday.
This hotel could not have been placed in a better location. The view from our window was Chichester Cathedral. Great hotel and highly recommended

I've been to this hotel several times and always found it met with a business travelers basic needs - a bed and shower and a few tv channels. However, as I found to my misfortune I found the rooms do not have air con. This is not normally a problem in this country however, this particular visit was in the middle of a heatwave, and the hotel only had a couple of fans to distribute making sleep basically impossible.

I would recommend this hotel to anyone who needs a cheap no thrills nights kip. Just check the weather forecast before you leave!

Excellent location, clean and fairly comfortable (although room very small and storage facilities minimal) but we spent the most uncomfortable 2 nights of our lives, getting minimal sleep. The room temperature was well over 30 degrees, there was no ventilation - the window can only open a crack - and there were insufficient fans available (we checked in at 4pm and there were no fans available). NEVER go to this hotel in summer.

Room Tip: NOT the back of the hotel - these rooms get sun all afternoon and evening and windows open even less than street side ones.

Very good Travelodge. Excellent position in the centre of Chichester but lack of air conditioning and ventilation makes it insufferable in summer. We have stayed several times and it is always a problem if it is a warm day. Travelodge please install some air conditioning.
