We love the new theatre - far comfier seats than before, lots of room, and a remarkable job in making the audience feel even closer to the action (they seem to have made it look "widescreen" - I'm not quite sure how). This season, we've already seen Amadeus starring Rupert Everett, which was great - and had a picnic in the park beforehand - and just this weekend saw Guy & Dolls: a fabulous musical with a great cast. I wouldn't be surprised if both transferred into the West End. We'll be back in the main house to see Gypsy and An Ideal Husband in the autumn, and also plan to eat in the Minerva restaurant. We're so lucky to have this word class theatre on the South Coast.
