Previous reviews worthy of five star reviews in my opinion. Very comfortable and homely B n b not far from centre of Chichester . Hosts absolutely lovely , really kind and helpful( very important when you are visiting a new place for the first time). Breakfast was very tasty and plentiful and individual needs of customers can be accommodated to within reason. Rooms are spacious and well furnished.A definite thumbs up from me.

Very clean, comfortable bed, excellent breakfast, friendly owners. It is a pleasure to stay.
A friendly communal breakfast to start the day with quality food. The owners are a mine of local information. 10mins walk from town centre.

July 8th -10th 2014. Fantastic stay. Hosts were really nice and nothing was too much trouble. Rooms were spacious, comfortable and clean. Tea and coffee making facilities and flatscreen TV. The rooms also have arm chairs to sit and relax.Off road parking at the rear and breakfast was delicious and bountiful. Fruit juice, cereal, toast and/or full English breakfast on offer. Great start to the day. 5/10 mins walk to the City Centre.

Cathedral was beautiful and fascinating. Central to alot of lovely places, with Portmouth Harbour and Historic Dockyards and Arundel Castle are not to far away and are well worth a visit. Close to Goodwood and Fontwell, for those interested in race meetings. The Old Cross pub and the Swallow Bakery, which are close to each other in North Street are worth a try. Many designer shops in the town, but no sign of a big name supermarket.

Would definitely recommend. We will go back and use as a base to visit other places lie Petworth and Fishbourne, which we didn't get time to see this time.

Room Tip: All rooms excellent. We had larger room with en suite facility and king size bed. One of the other rooms was slightly smaller, but had a bathroom and king size bed. Both situated at the front of the house. Very quiet, comfortable and relaxing.

This B&B is ideal for visiting Chichester, with nicely furnished rooms, off-street parking and only a short walk to the city centre. We could explore the city and the canal on foot and visit the Weald and Downland Open Air Museum and the Roman Palace at Fishbourne by car. Kamala and Alex made every effort to make our stay enjoyable, from tips on what to see and do, where to eat, fresh flowers in the room and delicious breakfasts including lots of fresh fruit. Can heartily recommend!

Room Tip: All of the rooms are lovely! The room at the back is quieter with windows open, though with the windows shut you hardly notice the noise from the street in the other rooms. One of the rooms only has a small showerroom. The room at the back consists of two small rooms with bathroom inbetween, so would be suitable for two single travellers or a family.

This Spring we discovered this wonderful part of Sussex, and Ten Chichester, a superbly-run B&B very conveniently situated for the town centre, is one of the best things there. We enjoyed a most comfortable 4 night stay at a daily rate of £80. The bed in our large, tastefully-furnished room pulled off the difficult trick of being soft and supportive at the same time; the milk provided in metal flasks is the real thing rather than the ubiquitous ( and universally detested) UHT; the room TV is the latest type and so easy to use; the wardrobe hangers are the normal type in place of the annoying captive variety; loads of storage space is provided; room heating is efficient and flexible; there are comprehensive guides to local attractions and a delightful lounge is available downstairs.

Nothing is too much trouble for Kamala. There is no formulaic aspect to her concern for her guests, and it shows in her distinctively personal approach. Varied breakfast choices include a very good fried option and generously-sized individual coffee carafes. Service is faultless.

As in so many places these days, Chichester can be a parking nightmare, so the safe, onsite facility at Ten is not the least of its attractions. The short, level walk into town means that the car can stay there, while you enjoy the wide range of eating places and happily thumb your nose at the drink-drive regulations.

So much more remains for us to explore in this lovely corner of England and when we return next year it will be for another stay in this great B&B.

Room Tip: If you like to sleep with the window open, ask for the room at the back.
