We are regular visitors to the area and always stay here when we can - have tried others higher in the ratings and can't understand why they are higher.
The secure off street parking is a bonus
Kamala can't do enough to make your stay the best. There is a very comfortable lounge with lots of local info and games etc, a seperate dining room for the lovely breakfasts or in the garden in good weather
The bedrooms are spacious , comfortable and spotless and with all the extras you might need
The amount of people who return time and again speaks for itself

We had a wonderful stay at this relaxing, friendly B&B. Kamela a was helpful and interested in our visit. The breakfast was the best I have had in a B&B, lots of choice and fresh food; even freshly baked croissants.
Rooms were very peasant and comfortable and the art work all over the house really added to our stay.
'Ten' is really close to the centre of Chichester and also easy to get out to the coast.
We would love to return.

Stayed here for 2 nights during Glorious Goodwood.
The b & b is in a great location for Chichester centre and the railway station where you can get a bus to the races.
We arrived at Ten a little earlier than the check in time and were really pleased that our room was ready for us. We has room 3 which is spacious with separate bath and shower. The facilities in the room were a lot more than I expected including miniature toiletries and a fan to keep you cool should you be lucky enough to get the good weather we had.
Other reasons to book here are the off road parking, free wifi, excellent variety at breakfast and lovely hosts.
We enjoyed it so much we have arranged to go back next year.

Our stay at Ten Chichester for 2 nights for Glorious Goodwood Races was wonderful. On our arrival we were met by the lovely owner Kamala who showed us to our spacious, spotlessley clean room with ensuite shower room & toilet. There was everything we needed in the room, tea, coffee, hot chocolate, home made biscuits, fresh milk, kettle, water. Hairdryer, toiletries a large fan (we had warm weather!) The king size bed was very comfortable with lovely pillows & crisp cotton sheets. Kamala had left the quilts off the bed due to the warm weather but should we have needed them they were available, The establishment is very home from home with lots of lovely quirky nik naks dotted around. We had one breakfast served indoors and on our second morning it was served in the garden which had a wonderful "holiday" feel. there is a great choice for breakfast, juice, water, tea, coffee, cereals, toast, croissants (home made & devine!) jams, marmalade and then we were asked what we would like cooked hot for breakfast and were able to choose from either a full english or any variation of this i.e beans on toast, eggs cooked to your liking on toast, a bacon or sausage butty, whatever you wanted Kamala & Alex were happy to oblige. Ten Chichester is in a great spot, just a short walk into town where there are various shops, restaurants and bars to choose from. We were able to park at the rear of the hotel and due to Kamala & Alex's great local knowledge of the area & transport to the races that's where the car was left until we were ready to leave. Nothing was too much trouble, my friend and I were even offered pashminas of Kamala's to use at the races as we hadn't taken our own! (and she has outstanding horse racing knowledge so do ask for tips!) A lovely, warm welcome was had and I'm sure we will be returning to stay again.

I cannot believe the disparity between the reviews of this place and my experience: To start with I cannot comment on the owners as they were far too busy on the golf course to be at the house for our arrival. Instead we were instructed as to where to find a door key to let ourselves in. The house was dark with curtains closed, very hot and musty. The decoration was poor and furniture & furnishings looked as if they had come from a charity shop. Generally the house was untidy, unappealing and wholly inappropriate for a place catering for paying guests.

When we found our way upstairs we identified a reasonably sized room with a shower/wc unit the size of a standard cupboard stuck in the corner. Our friends who had asked for twin beds were given two small rooms, one with a sofa bed rather than a real one. For this third rate accommodation we were expected to pay £90 per room; £30 would be nearer the mark!

Ten minutes after our arrival we returned the key to its hiding place and left. By this time it was too late to find alternative accommodation and so what was planned as a delightful weekend was turned into a long and tiring day out. Nonetheless even if we had known there was nowhere else we would still never have stayed in that place. I have never felt so cheated or angry.

We visited Ten Chichester for 2 nights in August for a weekend at Glorious Goodwood.
From the moment we booked I knew we were in safe hands with Kamala. She made booking easy and stress free, and even text to see how our journey was on the way down. On arrival we were met and shown to our beautiful room.
It was comfortable, beautifully decorated & spacious with everything you could possibly need for your stay; hair dryer, a fan due to the lovely weather, bathroom products, tea & coffee making facilities, and home made biscuits. Our room had a kind size bed and a large en suite with shower.
Breakfast was great with a choice of cereals and croissants and then a cooked breakfast and fresh pots of tea and coffee in constant supply. As the weather was so lovely we even got to have breakfast al fresco in the garden on the second day which was such a lovely change.
The bed and breakfast is in a brilliant location, only a 10 min flat walk into the centre of the city.
We parked our car on their car park on Friday and didn't touch it again until Sunday when we were leaving.
Kamalas knowledge of the area (and horses!) was brilliant, after we told her of our dinner reservation for the first night she tactfully advised us on several other places to try.
Kamala and Alex made us feel so welcome in their home, I would not hesitate in returning (we are planning our next trip already!) or recommending to friends.
Stay here, you really will be glad you did!

Previous reviews worthy of five star reviews in my opinion. Very comfortable and homely B n b not far from centre of Chichester . Hosts absolutely lovely , really kind and helpful( very important when you are visiting a new place for the first time). Breakfast was very tasty and plentiful and individual needs of customers can be accommodated to within reason. Rooms are spacious and well furnished.A definite thumbs up from me.
