Description: Our inspiration for the food and design of Cote is a modern interpretation of the many famous bistros of Paris. Inspired by new trends, we are dedicated to serving authentic classic brasserie dishes with a modern twist, using high quality produce at great prices. On the menu, guests will always find brasserie favourites on our a la carte menu such as steak frites, moules marinieres, corn-fed chicken from rural Brittany and tuna Nicoise, for dessert, Cote's creme caramel and creme brulee are much-loved house specialities. Seasonality and Cote's commitment to sourcing high-quality ingredients results in a monthly changing specials menu, ensuring there is always something new to delight regular guests and gastronomes alike, as well as the excellent value set menu. Open early every day for breakfast, through to lunch and dinner; Cote's atmosphere is informal and friendly.

Food was very good. Inexpensive and quick service if you are in for a pre-theatre meal. Only slight disadvantage is that this is a very popular restaurant, usually full and therefore rather noisy.

Not usually a fan of a chain restaurant, but I have always found Cote to do what they do very well, and on this occasion Chichester certainly did us all proud. Charming service, lovely food and a great time was had by all of us. Thank you.

Food was good although soup was served too hot. Service was good but not exceptional so was not happy to receive bill with 'optional' 12.5% service charge added. I don't agree with service charge being added ever, tips should be at customers discretion to reward good service. Years ago waiting staff were low paid and relied on tips but we now have a National Minimum Wage and do the staff actually receive the service charge anyway?

We come here when we have no children. It very rarely has children in, so feels relaxed and unhurried. I love the side bread, it is lovely with the butter. So many amazing dishes. The only negative is that e drinks are quiet expensive for non-alcoholic beverages.
