What a great find! Fantastic house, wonderful hosts, amazing breakfasts; nothing was too much trouble. Lin recommended two fantastic places for dinner - one almost literally on the doorstep - which added to our enjoyment. Would heartily recommend Rooks Hill.

From the moment we arrived to the moment we departed we could not have asked for more. Lin is the perfect host: warm, welcoming, discreet and great at giving accurate weather forecasts! Nothing is too much trouble. The breakfasts are amazing and the scrambled eggs were cooked to perfection.
The accommodation is full of character and great attention and thought has been given to every detail. Everywhere is spotless a true home from home.
We stayed in the Lavant suite which was a luxurious well appointed room. The bed was large and comfortable and it was great to have an area to relax in and unwind.
Lin and Ron have thought of everything to make your stay the best it could possibly be. They really do deserve their five star B&B status. We will be recommending Rooks Hill to our friends. Thank you Lin for a wonderful stay

Room Tip: All rooms of exceptional quality

Our stay here was to celebrate my wife's birthday, combined with a shopping expedition to the beautiful town of Chichester. Rooks Hill has lovely views over Goodwood and it is hard to believe how quickly you can be in the town centre by car.
When we arrived we were greeted warmly by Lin who sat us down in front of a log fire in the lounge and brought us a welcome pot of tea and some naughty cakes. The atmosphere is very relaxed here and we felt at ease as soon as we arrived. Lin was also kind enough to persuade the excellent restaurant on the other side of the road to find us a table for dinner at short notice. The room we were in ("Goodwood") was most comfortable and we rather wished we had stayed longer, especially when the breakfast offering was so special.
We were really very pleased with our choice of guest house.

This was our first night away from the children for almost a year. We tried The Pig in the New Forest But they were full.
We stayed at Rooks hill and ate at The Royal Oak. It was the perfect weekend away. Walks on the beach at West Wittering and Pagham Harbour. Ron and Lin are the perfect discrete hosts who appear with an amazing breakfast. You must try this place if they have space. Wonderful!
