Staff brilliant. So welcoming. For a budget hotel this place is fantastic. Room really nice and well appointed. Free and hassle free fast internet connection. Breakfast wonderful and Very French. Obviously management is first class here. Not so handy without a car. Free parking. I will return again for sure! If only all budget hotels were this good.

We stayed here with National holidays and found the staff very friendly and nothing too much trouble... the food however for our party was basis not good if you don't like it and if very plain pie and veg and pork with enough stuffing to fill your plate .i left mine to a waiter looking rather concerned but i couldn't eat it Sorry !!!!! .. if wasn't for a wonderful young girl helping mum who needs gluten free menu there was very little hot to eat, mum managed with soup and a roll and salad and fresh fruit salad that i had to ask for .... not good at all ... We asked for this on our booking form ..... They should be prepered for all dietary needs .... The rooms were very clean colour flat screen tv with many channels if you turned it up loud as the traffic at night sounded like a race track .. We were at the back of the hotel .. Breakfast however was really nice self service but you had to be careful with the hot ones steam poured out when you lifted the lids .. mind you there is a sign up to warn you ... Mum had taken her own bread etc to help which a lovely lady in the restuarant spoke to us about diets etc and our information would be passed on .... We left bread for the next customers !!! which she was very grateful... I know the trips are done are good value but food is the main part ! the staff worked extremely hard i wasn't there fault .. We would go back but only if the food is changed for parties after all we book these to get a good deal.. We didn't sample the main menu which looked fabulous ...shame about the food for our party the hotel it's self is lovely and the staff are fantastic !!!!

Room Tip: ask for a room that you can't hear the traffic

This hotel is very nice but there was one problem which was very dissapointing. Unless you can lip read, there is no point watching the TV. They are all locked on a low volume maximum and my daughter with hearing difficulties could not enjoy Casualty as she so wanted to do. Reception could do nothing but apart from this it was an enjoyable stay.

We stayed here as part of a National Holidays break. It was a nice hotel, clean and tidy. I've read some complaints about traffic noise but have to say we didn't experience any of that and it was a Saturday night stay. The staff were courteous and smiled - always a plus and nothing seemed to be a problem for them when asked. It was a set menu for the evening meal and was quite edible. Tables cleared quickly but without it looking like we were being spied on. The breakfast was really good, plenty to choose from and nicely done. The large tv worked and the chairs and dresser were clean and in good condition. Remote controlled AC although not needed would be welcome on a very hot night. The bathroom and toilet were seperate which was actually a plus that I wasn't expecting. The only thing being that it was a nice evening but although there is life over the hill it wasn't easy to find. Watch out as well as everyone in cars seemed to speed very very fast. Overall a really nice stay and highly recommended.

Room Tip: Make sure your door is closed behind you, we know of a couple of instances where the doors didn'...

Having just spent 4 nights in the hotel I can certainly recommend it. The staff are very friendly, the food is excellent, the bar serves a wide range of beers and the cost is very reasonable. It was quiet and, I suspect, it is rarely busy - but this is a bonus. As i was working in Leeds, this was only 20 minutes away. There is nothing not to like.

I stayed 2 nights as part of a coach trip with my mum who is aged 85. i was not expecting much, but the rooms were very large and clean with tea/coffee , big television, and a decent hairdryer. The bar area was comfortable, and the food we had, although not cordon bleu, was pretty good , with fresh vegetables.
The staff couldnt be faulted either, and were very good with the old folk.

No one does budget hotels better than the French, and this one is no exception. It is clean and comfortable, the food is reasonable, and for the price it would be hard to beat. As another reviewer says, don't be put off by the concrete walls - inside it is perfectly pleasant.
