Bradford Central Travelodge is located just minutes away from Forster Square Station and 10 minutes from the Interchange. The rooms are small for a couple but the warm welcome and comfortable beds make up for this. it is necessary to go out into the city for a meal or a drink, but there is a McDonald's near by. All in all this hotel offers very good value if booked in advance.

have stayed here on numerous occasions & booked again on 28th september. due to unforseen circumstances could not stay that week & wanted to change dates.
however because I booked a saver room they do not do amendments & I would have to to pay full price again.
Traveloge would rather lose business than be adaptable to its paying guests

Thank you for your review adam k, and we are very sorry to learn that you were unable to amend your booking. It is possible to amend a saver rate to a different date so long as the new date is at the exact same room rate and there is availability. There is a £5 amendment fee which is charged at the time the amendment is made. We are sorry for any inconvenience caused.

Superb budget hotel.

Room was clean, quiet and well presented, albeit with basic facilities (tea/coffee).

The hotel is situated next to Bradford Forster Square offering great rail links to Leeds, Skipton etc.

Would recommend to anyone looking to stay on a budget.

Very nice travel lodge, clean and up to date. Staff very helpful and easy to get hold of.
They went that extra mile for me.
it is in the centre of town and very close to railway station, shops and eating places.

Stayed in this hotel for 2 nights, Fri 20 June to Sun 22 June. Quick and easy to check in, staff were friendly and helpful. I have to say the rooms were very basic. We had 2 rooms one of which was an accessible room which had a king size bed, a small LCD tv on wall, a desk in the corner which had a kettle, 2 mugs and a couple of coffee sachets / teabags and a plastic chair. There was a small shelf in the corner that had a rail to hang 4 or 5 items and a bathroom/wet room. The other room was similar except there was a double bed and a bath with shower over it. That was it, rooms were large, clean but oh so bare. Plastic chair was not the best to sit on, surely it wouldn't break the bank to supply a decent chair to sit in? Still we were visiting relatives and didn't expect to stay in the rooms except to sleep.
One word of warning to anyone contemplating staying at this hotel is parking. There is parking but it isn't only for hotel guests, people in nearby flats also use the parking spaces of which there isn't many. Also I was concerned to see broken glass in one of the spaces indicating a car had been damaged, still I noticed CCTV cameras around so thought parking was safe enough - WRONG! On Saturday a car was broken into around 8pm and the satnav /stereo was stolen. This was right under the CCTV camera! Upon speaking to reception I discover that it isn't unusual and that there had been others that day as well! In fact there was yet another pile of broken glass just down from the hotel door that hadn't been there in the morning. I decided that I would never sleep if I left my car in the car park so I promptly moved it to the leisure exchange car park which was about 10 mins walk away and was more secure with people patrolling the car park on a regular basis.
I could just about put up with the fact that the room was so basic as it was clean, but for me safe parking is a definite must have. Due to this I will not use this hotel again till the parking problems have been addressed!
The hotel don't know which cars the guests have and due to this the car that was broken into was left open to the elements all night and the possibility of it being damaged further or stolen due to it having no window. At least if the hotel had taken car registration numbers they would have been able to inform the guest that his car had been broken, into allowing the guest to make arrangements for repairs etc.

Room Tip: All rooms appear to be similar, family rooms have a sofa bed and appear to be same price so it might...

My wife and I were due to stop in the Bradford Travelodge Sunday 20/04/14 for 5 nights.
My wife became critically ill with Pancreatitus and was rushed into hospital. We had rooms also booked at Bradford 5 nights, Warminster 5 nights and Amesbury for 4 nights and we had to cancel them all. Fortunately we had room cancellation insurance through Travelodge.
We filled in the claims form we also sent a hospital letter stating my wife's illness and a GP Letter from her own Doctor. Thinking now they have enough to process our claim we waited then we received a letter asking for copies of the room bookings and copies of the room cancellation forms. Again we supplied Gallagher Bassett part of the Atlas Group of Insurers with an e-mail showing them all. We waited again thinking it would now be processed no e-mail and no contact from them, we phone again and after telling us they had everything they now needed, stated they had not received the Bookings and cancellation e-mail after telling us they had. This was over two weeks we had not heard from them so we phoned again telling us that they had not got the Bookings and Cancellations again. We told them to get them from Travelodge as they act for them stating they could not do that, we told them we did not have anything further to send them so they stated they would get them from Travelodge, which they could have done in the first place. We know they were doing everything possible to prevent them paying the the claim £434.85. At Warminster we had to book twice at the same time because the prices were different so thinking one room insurance would cover the two bookings for the same hotel 5 nights instead of 4 would be enough not a chance Gallagher Bassett refused to pay us, with all the hassle we had trying to get our claim paid, you would have thought they would have paid the £30.00 out of courtesy. It has taken a lot of effort and arguments with Gallagher Bassett we have finally been paid minus £30 .00 for the extra night at Warminster. We had a claim with Premier Inns and they paid us no hassle even stating that they hoped my wife would get better their Sales and Service were Brilliant well Done PREMIER INNS. We sent an e-mail to TRAVELODGE telling them of our situation they have yet to reply to us which goes to show they do not care about their Customers.
We could have done without all the hassle from Gallagher Bassett and Travelodge. My Wife had a stroke November 13 and Pancreatitus in
April 14 and was in the the High Dependency Ward she was critically ill, she went into two Hospitals.
Make sure you send in on a claim, Claims Form, Booking and Cancellation, forms Doctors and Hospital letters. The information supplied does not ask for any of this on their website Gallagher Bassett or Travelodge.

Lovely clean hotel. Great value. Pleasant staff. However difficult to get to. Post code didn't work in satnav, road works, closures and one way systems made it difficult to get to. Quite a rough area, parking difficult and very noisy outside at night. Would use travel lodge again, but not this one!
