We went to Zoya today and we loved it ... they had an excellent menu selection, my friend went for the Lamb Karahi which actuall tasted like real Lamb unlike most places in Bradford and I had the Lasagne which came out like it had just come out of the oven unlike some places which feels like its microwaved . Desserts were yummy to finish a wonderful meal. Top place and excellent service

we went here for the first time to have a sunday brunch and was really impressed with the quality of food and service. the decor is trendy and up market the food is lush and good alternative to some of the more popular indian resturants in bradford - makes a refreshing change. we had chicken wings, chicken livers (which were the best we have ever had) followed by a lamb curry and it all tasted yummy. we went with our children both under the age of five and the atomosphere is very family friendly - i would much rather take my children here than anywhere else...love it and we are without a doubt going to become regulars xxx

Went for lunch at Zoya, was going to Akbars Cafe but thought we'd try this.BIG MISTAKE!! The food is terrible. Asked for chana chat which is a dryish salad type starter with onions. Found it to be runny similar to the chana masala from chana puri they serve for breakfast except with yogurt on top. I felt they had used the leftover for that. I could not even smell the chat masala. It was served warm. When I explained its supposed to be cold and not runny waiter did not understand and warmed it further. I gave up. If that is their chana chat they need to rename it as it is misleading its more of a curry. Noodles were soggy and worse than instant packs and chips a total rip off. Desserts looked good but I was too annoyed to order. Won't go there again!

I went with my husband on a Friday evening. the decor inside felt really cheap and the sound system was rather basic to say the least. I felt like I was dining in someone's living room.

starters I had lamb chops- which were bland
poppadoms were complimentary which was nice

samosas - nice pastry and filling
Chicken wings- ok slightly burnt

For mains we had kofte- plenty of meatballs barely an egg insight. The koft dish was very salty and not enough spices

Garlic naan were small in comparison to other restaurants

We asked for plain sweet lassi. It arrived quite sour and tasted off. I we asked for it to be taken away because it was unacceptable. They kindly prepare another jug which tasted better.

I would not eat at the this restaurant again coz the atmosphere was rather dull and the decor seemed rather poor in comparison to other restaurants on Leeds road. cafe zoya have a long way to go in terms of quality of food in order to compete against akbars cafe.
