Model Farm Bed & Breakfast

Stayed for 3 nights and overall very positive. Room was spotlessly clean and a good selection of toiletries, tea, coffee etc provided. A great location for visiting local areas. Only thing we would have changed is that breakfast room is set out with large round tables so you have to share a table, nice to mix and chat to other guests unless you have to share with grumpy people !

This was our second visit. We had previously stayed in one of the cottages but this time we were in the farm house. The room was clean and pleasant with a good supply of tea, coffee etc. The bathroom was modern and spotlessly clean with everything we might need. The bed was comfortable and we had a lovely couple of nights. The food was wonderful. We will definitely return.

Stayed for one night to break up a long journey, we were warmly welcomed and shown to our room which was spotlessly clean and comfortable, decent sized wall mounted TV; Large comfy bed plus sofa. Plenty of free coffee, tea, hot chocolate in room. Bathroom very smart and modern with plenty of soaps etc; and even toothbrushes.

Breakfast was in conservatory with nice views over local countryside with plenty of choice, I had a full english freshly cooked, not buffet style and to be honest it was adequate but not outstanding.

Our room overlooked what appeared to be a butchers working yard with lots of activity, didn't bother us but if you're a veggie you wouldn't have liked it.

I said 'quirky' in my description because it appears to be owned and run by a Polish family and the adjoining farm shop is aimed at the African market with many African customers. A bit strange to us but I stress VERY friendly and welcoming.

No bar but a decent pub about 10 mins walk.

If we were in the area again would stay here without hesitation and for the money it is astounding value.

My wife and myself stayed here on Easter Sunday and Easter Monday nights while visiting my mother-in-law. On arrival we were given a warm welcome, told about the room and also the breakfast arrangements.
The room was in the converted barn complex, it was really good, consisting a king-size bed, lounge area and in the bathroom a modern shower pod with different mode's. The breakfasts were also really good, fruit, cold meats and then full english. All fantastic value.

Stayed one night in model farm bed and breakfast it's easy to find lovely setting nice couple and staff .
We stayed in room 12 very nice all the tea and coffee bits and bathroom well equipped with shower gel tooth brushes ect ect shower took a while to warm and powerful hair dryer .
Breakfast was fantastic whatever you want and prepared lovely.
Checked in early as due at footie match sadly they lost lol!
Only thing that let it down was i no toilet in reception area and when you have been driving for 3 hours that's what is /was needed , was sent across to shop but after going in I refused to use them they were disgusting no loo roll seat was yuck made me feel sick walked out would rather hold on , so if you are going down for breakfast and are in the houses or conversion go before

Room Tip: Room 12 is large

Fantastic place however it appears a little odd on arrival reception area is a little dated but couldn't be more surprised by the warm welcome and fantastic rooms. We had room 12 which was a large room with an enormous bed, en suite shower room, lots of complimentary beverages and items including toothbrushes and toothpaste, large flat screen TV.and even a fridge. The owners think of everything there are tea and coffee cups in room they also supply wine glasses which we thought were a nice and thoughtful touch. The views around are amazing and I can imagine in summer the grounds would be a lovely place to sit to take it all in. Breakfast was a nice experience they think of everything and the choice is excellent. Nothing seems too much trouble. There is only really one pub - the new inn which was a short walk away and quite pleasant other than that unless you are a walker/rambler its a short bus or taxi ride into Bradford where there are plenty of shops and attractions. I would definitely recommend this to anyone and would consider staying again.

Room Tip: I would ask for room 12 again

We started at Model Farm in the Barn conversion for a night with friends. At £40 for a double room, with ensuite, TV, WiFi, tea, coffee and a lovely big king size bed we could not fault it.
The rooms were large, clean and had lovely high ceilings with exposed beams.
Breakfast was lovely with fresh fruit, mackerel, cheese & ham on the table for us followed by a full cooked breakfast and the staff made us feel really welcome.
Although it is a little way out of Bradford, it was only a £7 taxi trip to the centre.
