“A good value for money weekend”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 26 July 2013

We visited Haworth for the weekend to celebrate my birthday. Our room at the Apothecary
Guest House was clean and spacious. Nic and David were very welcoming and keen to
ensure our stay was a happy one. Free parking is always a bonus! and the full English breakfast was excellent, with the offer of as much toast, tea and coffee as we required. The location is
great, right at the heart of the historic village. My other half always tries to choose somewhere
with a relaxing atmosphere, quaint tearooms and interesting shops for our weekends away,
and Howarth certainly has all of these. Not forgetting the historical interest and superb Keighley
and Worth Valley Steam Train experience. A lovely romantic weekend away! Jon and Trish

We have just returned from having a weekend away without the kids and we loved it! The room was large, clean and airy. The view we had was over looking the main street and was nice to wake up and see the church first thing in the morning. Free parking to the front over night and in a free car park through the day. The breakfast was ample, fresh and delicious with a good selection to choose from. All in all the stay was excellent with friendly staff who were only to happy to help. We look forward to visiting The Apothecary Guest House again.

Dont know if these other people stayed at the same place but our stay was awful. Room was dirty, tissues under bed. No tea tray provided. Owner was most rude and our room had a large beam across middle of room which we had to keep stepping over.

Excellent location, at the top of the cobbled road opposite the Black Bull and Church with the Reverent Bronte and family where based .

Parking available directly outside, The owners where polite, friendly and helpful, also gave good recommendations for places to eat. Price of room cannot be faulted and breakfast was good quality. Rooms were clean and nice with an TV , tea/coffee, and shower.

Easy access to moors.. basically walk from straight ahead from the Guess house, passed the church for about 1 KM then your on the trail to Top Withens.

Room Tip: Ideal for Bronte fans.

Booked 5 rooms here for a party of 8 friends. From the moment we arrived the owners were very friendly & helpful. The rooms were of a good size, very comfortable and had everything you could need. The guest house is well located at the top of the old main street where there's an excellent choice of places to eat & drink . We thought the stay was great value for money. The breakfast was nice and freshly prepared with choice of cereal , toast or full English. Parking was available very close by, at no cost. Would definitely stay there again.

Clean and tidy. Reasonable rates.
Frendly welcome and comfortable room. Nice English breakfast.
Great location for Bronte experience and for olde world street.
Good pub down the street selling local brewed Timothy Taylor ales.
We would stay there again.

Spent two nights here recently and it was a good choice. Perfect location, clan and smart, friendly staff, great value for money. And breathtaking views from room at the back of the hotel of the nearby hills. A great place to stay in a beautiful village.
