I have just returned from a one night stay at this charming, well situated little guest house. on arrival the owners made us feel most welcome straight away and were exceptionally helpful with sorting our parking, luggage and room. The family room was basic but exceptionally clean and tidy. We found our stay quiet and peaceful and the breakfast was exceptional value for money.
The guest house is a family run business and everyone was extremely helpful and friendly. Haworth itself is a lovely place to visit and I would definitely return to the Apothecary Guest House and highly recommend it to other visitors.
Thank you for a lovely stay.

I booked here for 2 nights. Upon arrival i was told my en-suite room was unavailable and i had a seperate shared bathroom (no refund on difference offered) the reason given was there being full! During the night the noise of the place drove me to distraction and kept me wide awake. I finally drifted off about 5am only to be woken at 8.45 by a loud rapping on my door which was david the owner asking where i was for breakfast (included in price but still my choice i had thought) when i asked to be excused David started banging and moaning that in 20 years hed never known such a thing? I wasnt sure why. I tried to go back to sleep but unfortunately i was unable due to the private access for the owners being steps directly behind my room and David (still moaning loudly?) Bounding up and down( i felt on purpose to annoy me) .I popped my head out and asked for a quieter room for the next nigh! I was told that id imagined any noise as the whole hotel was EMPTY and i was " the only guest" why id been lied to and given a room with separate facilities i still ponder but wasnt given chance to act as i was told to leave and given a full refund?! I am sick (terminally with liver cancer) i explained this and still was threatened with being physically removed if i didnt willingly leave! The reason? David has never been so upset! Apparently with a complaint over his noisy dwellings! DO NOT STAY HERE its a hole and the only nice thing was the elderly woman who had initially booked me and given me a suite . David and his brother are southerners and dont possess a charming attitude like the rest of the folk in this beautiful Yorkshire town. I was admitted into hospital this very same day, calling an ambulance once thrown out . I am never staying there again nor haworth soley due to the Apothecary! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
