“Lovely place and wonderful views”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 27 August 2011

Have just returned from a 2 day break in Haworth stayed at Rosebud Guest house, what a lovely place, very clean and beauiful room, lovely owners very friendly.
Room was a delight we stayed in the Tapestry room which had a great ensuite, and only a stone throw away from the main street that leads to the Bronte parsonage.
Everything you need is in the room every selrction of hot drink you can think of all set out lovely with biscults.
Very comfortable four poster bed, T V with freeview , great shower with complimentary toiletries.
Breakfast was very nice choice of cereal and fruit and full English.
Will be staying again and would highly recommend a stay at the Rosebud.
Thank You for making us feel welcome.

Room Tip: All rooms are at a high standard.

We booked through late rooms and it was fab. The room we had was a small four poster room and it was really nice. The whole place was very clean, breakfast was good and there was lots of tea, coffee etc in the room. We also got scones and jam.
Parking was fine, this is always something I worry about in small places but there was plenty of parking. Adrian and Caroline were very friendly and helpful. They have a lovely conservitory and garden you can sit in.
We would go back.

thanks
Pauline

A friendly and comfortable B&B in a great location for exploring the village. Facilities were excellent and squeaky clean. The full english breakfast was generous to a fault (try the black pudding) and you can buy homemade jam to take back with you.
Even the garden was a wee gem.

Room Tip: Railway Children fans can choose this themed room. Others hint at the Bronte connection but are neve...

Had a great stay at the Rosebud Cottage. Caroline was very pleasant and gave us a warm welcome, with advice on cafes and restaurants. It’s in a great location, perfect for exploring the beautiful Haworth and nearby villages. We were very comfortable in the cottage, the traditional décor is very fitting to the location but was clean with modern facilities. The breakfast was out of this world. Lots of little extras like the homemade pancakes, which definitely set us up for the day!
Will certainly return and recommend to friends! A lovely stay, thank you!

I was born and spent a lot of my childhood in Haworth. My husband had never been so decided to take him for the weekend to show him where I grew up. I last stayed at Rosebud Cottage 8 years ago, it had different people who owned it then. Caroline and Adrian made us feel so welcome it really was like I had gone home!!! Its so nice when people go the extra mile but that is not how Caroline and Adrian run things, oh no they go the extra 100 miles!!!! They were simply amazing hosts, They were both born and bred in Haworth so have a vast knowledge of local history, if you need to know anything just ask them and if they dont know they will find out for you, really nothing is too much trouble for this couple!!
The breakfast is to die for and all local produce!!! But be warned your going to gain a few pounds because you will want to eat until you burst :-)
The rooms are warm and immaculate, the bed are very comfortable giving a really good nights sleep (I usually sleep badly in a strange bed), they provide high speed internet for FREE which is VERY rare in Haworth and the fact they live in the house next door means they really are there for you 24/7.
The location (I think) is the best in Haworth - far enough away from the village pubs so you dont hear people going home, but close enough to the nearest pub for just a 2 minute stroll :-) close enough to the train station (2 minute walk) and almost next door to the village park! The cobbled street begins just at the top of the lane where the cottage is situated so its really perfect for everything!!
Its usually years in between my trips down memory lane, however, because I really did feel like I had gone home this time, I have now booked to return on 12th November 2011 for the opening of the Christmas celebrations in the village and in June 2012 for the 1960's weekend and I am so looking forward to seeing Caroline and Adrian again and I know I will feel right at home again in their beautiful cottage - I can honestly say it is the nicest place I have ever stayed in Haworth and there has been many I have stayed in but never the same one twice until now!!! You really wont regret staying there

The best thing about this B&B is the knowledgeable and friendly owner, Caroline. She goes out of her way to make you feel welcome and provides unobtrusive help and guidance to ensure you make the most of your stay in the area. The B&B itself is extremely attractively decorated: a combination of modern comforts with vintage style furniture and pretty details like a bunch of sweetpeas in a glass vase when we arrived.

The breakfast was very tasty: a good range of options and Caroline is very accommodating if you want to change or mix and match. Breakfast does, however, finish at 9am during the week so maybe it's not for those of you who like a long lie-in.

There was a wonderful range of books (fiction and non-fiction) to help you plan your time in Haworth and to sink into the Bronte atmosphere. There was also an excellent DVD library (there are DVD players in the rooms).

All in all, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend the place.

We had a very enjoyable 3 night stay at Rosebud Cottage. We had originally booked for 2 nights but asked if the third night was free before we arrived, just in case. After our first night we decided to stay for the third night and found that Caroline had already made the third night unavailable to others due to our tentative enquiry. To us, this illustrated their priority is to provide customer satisfaction rather than simply filling rooms regardless. Caroline and Adrian are a lovely friendly couple and the Guest House is exceptional. The breakfasts were large and perfectly cooked, exactly what's required before a long day walking across the moors! We would definitely stay again and have already recommended to several people. Thank you.
