A great guest house with almost tardis-like qualities. Small from the outside, but 5 guest rooms, dining room, guest lounge, conservatory and garden. It's one of those lovely rambling buildings that begs to be explored. The house was spotless throughout, and our hosts were beyond charming and helpful. The included breakfast was excellent and filling, but I forgot to ask Caroline if she could do fried bread, a weakness of mine that I reserve for when staying away. I wonder if parking could be an issue at times? It wasn't for us, but it looked like 3 spaces for 5 rooms. Maybe there are close alternatives, we didn't need to find out. The location is excellent, sat at the bottom of the Main Street, and the steam railway station around the corner. We will definitely return.

Room Tip: The Tapestry Rose room was delightfully quiet. Cramped looking on first sight, but surprisingly not...

After reading the other reviews, it is hard to find anything to add that hasn't already been raved about.
We had a wonderful time and felt completely at home from the minute we walked through the front door of this totally fab guest house.
Everything we could have wanted had been thoughtfully provided in the Tapestry Room. The room was spotless, and the gorgeous bathroom gleamed.
Breakfast was first class, cooked by the lovely Caroline, and served Adrian style!
There was only one problem with our visit, and that was having to leave.
We will definitely return in a heartbeat.

Room Tip: We stayed in the Tapestry Room, but had a sneaky peek at the other rooms which all looked equally co...

My wife Pauline and I have not stopped talking about our first fabulous visit to Haworth in W.Yorks - home of the famous 3 Bronte sisters, the stunning moor land scenery and one of the towns where the famous Keighley and Worth Valley (Steam) Railway continues to run daily following the amazing success of that wonderful/unforgettable film "The Railway Children" - and that was 40 + years ago!

I have to say I took a gamble when booking "Rosebud Cottage" at random from a web site. But it looked so lovely as a special weekend treat for my wife Paulines 70th Birthday. Needless to say, I had no need to worry. (I only wish that I was as lucky with other forms of gambling, such as the Horses, Football and Lotto, as I won the jackpot here for certain!) Everything that you'd ever expect in a Five Star Hotel is here in abundance with the addition of that little personal touch and attention to detail. (i.e. on returning after her birthday day out, my wife discovered waiting on our bed, a bottle of white wine with 2 glasses together with a card and later a cake that Caroline had made especially for her!)

Thanks to these truly superb hosts Caroline and Adrian, who went the extra mile throughout our whole weekend. We really didn't want to leave, as they made us feel so very much at home and it was like saying goodbye to long lost friends! The Cottage itself is old and exquisite and everywhere you look, it is spotless. Our bedroom and shower room was a delight with everything you would ever want on hand.

I've gone on a bit, but suffice to say we hope to be back asap. There's so much more to enjoy in the area apart from returning here to "Rosebud" and those enormous, but "yummy" W. Yorks breakfasts!

Downside: it's a long way "up" the hill to the town for a bottle of milk on a hot day!
Upside: It's "downhill" all the way back through a beautiful park and it's very near to the Railway Station!

Room Tip: Front room overlooking road may be a bit noisy with the occasional "boy racer" going flat...

A small three storey cottage set close to the station. My room on the first floor overlooking the road was small but had everything I needed. Lovely modern shower room with really good quality towels and toileteries. Plenty of tea and coffe makings and the real bonus were freshly made scones waiting for me when I came back from a day away.

Really lovely breakfast, was served in the basement dining room. Caroline was very flexible and you could have just what you wanted to eat.

Would definitely stay there again.
Thank you for a lovely stay.
