“Birthday weekend”
Reviewed 28 August 2013

Our stay at Rosebud Cottage was 1st Class. Hosts Caroline and Adrian made sure our time spent in the cottage was comfortable and it felt like 'home from home'. Their local knowledge helped us to make the best of our time in Haworth and a dining trip on the Keighley and Worth Valley Steam Railway completed a wonderful weekend. Haworth Station is only a couple of minutes walk away too. All in all a great place to stay.

Room Tip: If you'd like an original 4 poster bed for the night ask for the Bronte Rose room.

I wanted to visit Haworth to see the Bronte Parsonage and other sites in the area. Adrian and Caroline were very welcoming. They helped me navigate the area, and told me interesting information about the area. The cottage is lovely, and very convenient to the train station and the Bronte Parsonage.

We wanted to explore the parsonage and I'd heard how pretty Haworth was with the cobbled street, so had to visit. Being child free for the night my husband, after reading previous reviews decided to book rosebud cottage. What a great choice he made.
As soon as we arrived we were given a warm welcome from Caroline, she showed us to our very stylish, comfy and clean room and explained everything to us. (Which was great and very useful) Excellent facilities and plenty of tea and coffee.

We went for a walk to explore the parsonage and area and the quaint shops, on our return we were greeted by the very friendly Adrian, who recommended the old white lion for tea and with a 10% discount for being rosebud guests we decided to take this opportunity and well worth it, it was, good food and service. Breakfast at rosebud was yummy! Caroline cooked the best scrambled eggs! We both thoroughly enjoyed our full Yorkshire breakfast and a good old chat with Adrian. We would definitely return and recommend, Caroline and Adrian are both very down to earth, hospitable people. Their customer service is excellent! Lovely to meet them both

A great guest house with almost tardis-like qualities. Small from the outside, but 5 guest rooms, dining room, guest lounge, conservatory and garden. It's one of those lovely rambling buildings that begs to be explored. The house was spotless throughout, and our hosts were beyond charming and helpful. The included breakfast was excellent and filling, but I forgot to ask Caroline if she could do fried bread, a weakness of mine that I reserve for when staying away. I wonder if parking could be an issue at times? It wasn't for us, but it looked like 3 spaces for 5 rooms. Maybe there are close alternatives, we didn't need to find out. The location is excellent, sat at the bottom of the Main Street, and the steam railway station around the corner. We will definitely return.

Room Tip: The Tapestry Rose room was delightfully quiet. Cramped looking on first sight, but surprisingly not...

After reading the other reviews, it is hard to find anything to add that hasn't already been raved about.
We had a wonderful time and felt completely at home from the minute we walked through the front door of this totally fab guest house.
Everything we could have wanted had been thoughtfully provided in the Tapestry Room. The room was spotless, and the gorgeous bathroom gleamed.
Breakfast was first class, cooked by the lovely Caroline, and served Adrian style!
There was only one problem with our visit, and that was having to leave.
We will definitely return in a heartbeat.

Room Tip: We stayed in the Tapestry Room, but had a sneaky peek at the other rooms which all looked equally co...
