Owner description: Open 11.00 Last admission 16.00. Please wrap up warm if visiting in winter. We are a small volunteer-run museum, so sorry - we don't have a cafe. We are located approx 400 ft after the totally separate Ingrow Loco Museum. We are close to the Keighley and Worth Valley Railway. You don't have to be a railway enthusiast to enjoy our museum! Over 60 television programmes and films have featured carriages from our museum. Watch the videos. Listen to the sound presentations as you sit inside the carriages. See the differences between 1st, 2nd and 3rd class. Signs, posters and small exhibits.

“Unexpected bonus”

Bought a Rover ticket on railway and picked up leaflet for this place. Found that entry fee was included in ticket so decided to call in. Excellent !!! Very nostalgic, loved all the carriages and their history along with their Film and TV use history. The old railway signs, timetables and express name boards always bring back nostalgic thoughts of yesteryear especially on the old L&Y railway. NOT TO MISSED if in the area.

“Not on the list but a nice surprise!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 12 August 2014 via mobile

We were travelling on the k&w railway and free to rover ticket holders so popped in. A lovely surprise, lots if thought into the displays and carriages and a little bit of history too. I enjoyed sitting in the Sherlock Holmes carriage and the WWII carriage plus brass rubbing with my nephews. Well worth adding onto the list especially when the weather turns a bit wild. Well kept and well thought out. Thank you!

“A must see”

If you're visiting the Worth Valley railway, do take time to visit this quirky museum. Assuming you love steam trains and railway memorabilia, it's a great place to spend an hour.
