The premier inn itself was good, the staff were pleasant and check in swift, the bottle of chiiled water on arrival was thankful as it was a very hot day. The bedroom and bathroom were clean and bed very comfortable, no noise from inside or out. The room was extremely hot at 28 degrees, there was a small fan but really the building needs air con.
The review on the Brewers Fayre is not so good. Again the staff were pleasant but the place was let down by the food. My husband got the fish pie and said it was like eating copydex, which in his words was unfortunate as the fish inside was quite nice, my lamb shank was very fatty and the onion rings were stodgy with more batter than onion. I would suggest stick to the burgers and they looked quite nice.More
