had a good stay at this hotel but why hide the towels -standing dripping on the caepet while ringing reception is just annoying and unnecessary, otherwise a good stay ,enjoyed a drink in the sky bar. and we had a window which opened, always a bonus

After a long hot journey from the south coast, I didn't check-in until 11.20pm - the welcome from the duty manager was excellent, he gave me a lovey, quiet room as requested and made sure I had everything I needed. The warm choc chip cookie you're given on check-in was wonderful!

The room was a reasonable size for a city centre hotel, very comfortable bed and the air conditioning a huge bonus during the heatwave.

I was staying two nights for my daughter's graduation. The location was fantastic - right on the canal and a five minute walk to all the shops and restaurants. I used valet parking when I arrived and that was dealt with very efficiently.

I only had breakfast one morning since we had a brunch at Roast & Conch before the graduation ceremony (excellent, I shall do a review for this and the delicious meal we had at Carluccio's too). My last morning I had to be away from the hotel by 7.45 and as it was a Saturday the restaurant didn't open for breakfast until 7.30 so I only had a pastry and fruit. Both were fresh and delicious and the staff were very attentive and asked if they pack some food up for my journey!

I wouldn't hesitate to use this hotel again next time I'm in Leeds.

Room Tip: Corner, end of corridor - great views of the canal and quiet. I found the hotel quiet throughout, al...

On check in got friendly welcome and a beautiful warm complimentary cookie. Lovely rooms, apple tv is great. Helpful staff. Brilliant location room over looking canal. Air conditioning was good and needed as weather was hot on stay. Room had everything could have wanted. Very clean. Sky lounge bar is excellent for cocktail.breakfast was nice, no mushrooms but when I asked I was told some would be brought out, felt like nothing was too
Much trouble for the waiting staff. Excellent service.
I would definitely recommend the doubletree and would stay here again.

We chose to stay at the DoubleTree Hilton for the location in the city centre. We found the staff extremely helpful and our room was very clean and the environment was welcoming. We would definitely stay at another hotel within this chain.

I stayed here again recently due to work, checkin was reasonably easy as was getting to my room. The room was its usual tired state with the Apple TV not working properly. AS I had quite a bit of work to do I ordered a beer from Room Service, I'm still waiting for that to arrive!!! I went down to meet my colleagues to be asked to leave the bar as it was a private party. I explained I was a guest of the party! Breakfast was the usual awful experience, the Cappuccino was terrible to the point of undrinkable, it appeared a hassle to get poached eggs and the 'saucers' that the call plates mean that there is ridiculous portion control. You come to check out and are asks "was everything ok?" unless you say yes the staff have no idea what to do, interestingly when I checked out 3 other customers were complaining!

Had a really nice weekend in Leeds at the Double tree, the location is good with a nice walk along the canal and the bars around the hotel are lively with the Hops being the pick of the bunch. The hotel was very clean and spacious as always, 1 disappointment was service in the dining room where it took 3 attempts to correct the bill which dropped from £61 to the correct £12. It spoilt a good meal.
