Well worth a visit if you're after a bargain or something to eat. Great victorian architecture and a mix of stalls and people and has a sort of buzz about the place. Saw a few interesting characters while we were there

A great example of a Victorian indoor market. Plenty of hustle and bustle and stalls with all sorts of good stuff. Don't miss The Jar Tree, a no waste store, unit BS1
A good range of shops and stalls plus a range of places to get food. We visited as part of the Jurassic trail, they had laid on colouring and activities for kids to do whilst visiting. It’s nice to be able to still find a proper market.
This market is huge. If you enter from Leeds high St you will first come into the indoor part. It has its original features round the edges if you look up. Following the market down you enter a section for eating, full of different types of food catering for all. After this you go to the outside section, lots of fruit and vegetable stalls who sell off cheaply at about 4.00pm.
The largest indoor market in Europe, home of the original Marks and Spencer penny bazaar and still a thriving and buzzing market. As well as the historic old market that has retained all the original architect, they are adding a new indoor food court area and there is an outside area too.
I am pretty sure you could buy anything yu wanted here but the part that I enjoyed most was all the food stalls.
