Stopped here with a group of 13 girls. The hotel has a really good location right opposite the train station. The rooms are clean, but we could have done with some lamps and more than 1 pillow! All the other rooms had lamps but ours. Would definatley stay again just for being central.

Stayed one night in the discovery inn, £40 for the night, great location bang opposite the train station, ideal for a night out in the city, a little dated but clean cheap and cheerful, and very friendly staff.....will definatly use again.

I stayed here for work for two nights. I paid £40 per night, room only. Very good value for a city centre hotel. It is just opposite the railway station so great if you are travelling by train. It doesn't have parking so you would have to utilise a nearby car park if necessary. My room was on the 6th floor. The lift only goes as far as the 5th so be sure to let them know if you have mobility difficulties. It was very clean and comfortable. Decoration in need of a touch up. I thought it might be noisy but it wasn't bad and I had the windows open due to the warm weather. The room was on the warm side as it was I the eves and so little insulation. The shower curtain was rather irritating. All in all it is a good value stay in the centre of Leeds, plenty of places to eat on the doorstep. I didn't have breakfast so can't comment. Would return if I need to stay again.

Room Tip: Avoid the 6th floor if you have mobility difficulties as the lift only goes as far as the fifth.

I was booked into the Discovery Hotel in Leeds for an overnight business stay, a week ago. The location looked good, but the price (£50) looked too good to be true! Having now stayed there, I can report that despite its modest appearance from the road, the rooms are well appointed, comfortable and clean, the staff are very helpful, the location is excellent (200m from the station) and the continentail breakfast @ £3.75 ( yes, £3.75!) is fine - better muesli than I had at a very expensive hotel a couple of weeks ago! Wirth considering.

I stayed here over Easter and enjoyed my stay very much.I will certainly return. The staff were helpfull and very friendly.I rang up before hand to tell them I could not manage stairs and was given a lovely room a few yards from the lift. The room was clean and comfortable with a daily supply of teabags, coffee, milk etc. I chose this hotel as it is close to the train station and city centre.Due to its location I expected it to be noisy and was pleasently surprised. The double glazing kept out most of the noise.I was able to see but not be disturbed by the trains, just a few motor bikes thats all.Good value for money.

I booked hotel for my 16 year old daughter and friend to go to concert. They wanted reception man to ring a taxi at 6 am in the morning but he wouldn't . I checked had 24 hour reception so as to get taxi. Disgusting as checked if 24 hour reception to ring taxi.

My daughter Chelsea and I recently attended the McBusted concert in The First Direct Arena Leeds. This hotel was within walking distance to the venue, and ideally situated in town centre amongst shopping malls, bars, restaurants etc. Our twin room was clean and more than adequate, complete with en suite facilities. Very reasonably priced for being directly in town centre. Downside was there is no parking for cars at this hotel, although there is parking available a short walk away for a small fee. Have rebooked this hotel again for Michael Buble concert in December!!!!

Room Tip: Not at front of hotel as you are right on the main busy street..
